Continue ReadingBranch is already gaining attention from top schools around the country. He already has offers from Maryland, Michigan, Miami, and Penn State. After seeing Branch perform in person, the early offers are to no surprise. I had the opportunity to watch Branch at FBU practice a year ago and he separates himself from the pack. His size stands out first and his speed and athleticism made all the difference in one on one’s. During the 2022 season he was a go to for the Hamilton Tigers; they put him in position to have the ball in his hands in space and he took care of the rest. The screen game and deep ball was where he was most dangerous, his run after the catch ability makes him a weapon in open field. He has a great combination of elusiveness and run power.
Gyremeh is another 8th grader entering high school already with an offer, he currently holds 1 from Louisville. Stephen is an experienced pocket passer with tons of arm talent. He’s accurate and composed in the pocket, delivering strikes all over the field. He was a very productive passer as an eighth grader and expected to transition into high school very well. This past off season he got his first taste of high school competition in 7-on-7, where he made a few nice throws and threw some touchdowns too.
We are keeping the trend going with freshmen prospects who already hold offers coming into high school. McAfee currently holds two offers from home state UMD and Virginia Tech. I watched McAfee play at the Pylon Training Camp Series at Flowers High school over this off season where he put on a show. He runs routes like a varsity vet, getting separation at his breaks. He also made some tough catches fighting for position and attacking the ball. He was named a top performer of the Pylon camp and was named a top performer at this years UA Next camp in Baltimore. Myles played in the 8th grade UA All-American game where he got a few receptions and scored a TD.
Warren is coming into the WCAC already with high school football experience. He played on Garfield High Schools JV team and made it clear that he belongs competing with the best. He played both sides of the ball, running back and DB, and made highlight plays on both. He’s a balanced back using a mix of speed and power in his running style and can throw a block for his teammates and clear the way. Warren is another prospect that played in the UA Next All-American game.
Henry is an impressive DB prospect at St. Frances. He has great size, already at 6’2, he’ll be able to compete with taller receivers on the varsity level. He’s transitioning from a competitive Maryland Heat 14U team, plying against some of the best competition in the country. The SFA program will help develop Henry into a top DB recruit, as they have with many current Panthers DB’s. Henry already has a few offers including Boston College, UNC Charolette, Michigan, and Maryland. During his 14U year he showed that he can defend the deep ball and create turnovers. His length gives him an advantage when high pointing the ball for an interception or deflection. In the run game he comes down hill fast and physical.
