Continue ReadingBinion is rated as a mid-three star kid and very worthy of cracking our rankings checking in just outside the top fifteen at the defensive line position within the Golden State. He held offers from Montana State, Sac State, Dartmouth, Colorado State, Washington and UNLV, but shut down his recruitment and pledged to CSU in June. He is a long kid with elite upside due to his frame and athleticism, and is just scratching the surface of what he can turn into at the next level.
Poloka is one of the more disruptive interior pass rushers across the talent rich Bay Area, and put together a very nice third season for Serra, and will look to anchor the front four again this Fall. He is a stout defensive tackle with tremendous power, good leverage and heavy hands that moves very good for his size laterally and closes the pocket quickly. Poloka holds an offer from Nevada, and should see other FCS+ interest come his way through his Senior season.
Ducker has a very busy Summer at multiple camps, and showed that he can compete against top tier competition and dominate. He is a good sized kid playing that 4i-5-6 tech and can play either inside or out, depending on the scheme. A powerful prospect with great strength and natural hip/ankle flexibility, he wins with power and violence at the POA but also shows he can bend off the edge, counter back inside and make plays in the open backfield. Ducker is well coached and technically sound and a no brainer contributor at the Ivy League level.
Olyphant is one of the more intriguing players across the region and stands at 6’4″ 230 pounds and is part of a solid St. Vincent front four. He is still a raw and developing prospect, but shows high upside due to his athletic background, range, body control and hand usage/natural first step and bend off the edge. He covers a ton of ground collapsing the pocket, shows quick block recognition and can change direction/chase down ball carriers in the open field. Carroll College and Minot State have already offered, with others most likely on the way after his four game tape is released.
