These specific prospects have overcome a variety of recruiting obstacles and I believe they will be highly productive seniors this fall. Below, I explain why these specific skill players are set to be big risers in the 2024 class.
Zayden Snapp
Zayden Snapp
Zayden is an underrated receiver out of Savannah, Missouri. Zayden holds one offer form Midamerica Nazarene. He has been invited to camps from schools in the region and I would expect him to receive another offer from a familiar school sooner rather than later.
Zayden’s next level top speed shows consistently gaining vertical separation versus zone coverage. Good tracking ability, balance, and contested catch ability shows adjusting to contested deep balls downfield. Lateral quickness and vision in the open field highlight Zayden’s next level playmaking ability.
Donovan George
Donovan George
Donovan George has not been active on the X app for years. Still, I would be surprised if schools close to Blue Springs did not have the versatile runner on their recruiting lists. Keep an eye on Donovan’s recruitment to heat up this fall.
Donovan shows good patience, burst, and vision exploding through smaller holes when power runs are disrupted at the point of attack. Quick feet, good strength, and balance allow Donovan to avoid tacklers and create extra yardage in the open field. Donovan’s top speed and productivity shown executing traditional screen plays highlight his third down potential at the next level.
Cooper Myers
Cooper Myers
Cooper Myers is a versatile running back out of Columbia. Cooper received his first offer from Central Methodist University in May. He also attended five different camps since June. Watch for the Rock Bridge playmaker to receive more regional interest before his senior season comes to an end.
Cooper shows good instincts and next level quickness cutting back to create positive yardage when defenders have disrupted the designed point of attack. Good balance shows running through arm tackles, but Cooper’s toughness and power get displayed initiating contact at the second level. Strong hands, elusiveness in space, and adjustment ability at the catchpoint highlight Cooper’s receiving potential at the next level.
Cameron Emmons
Cameron Emmons
Cameron Emmons is a highly productive running back for Kearney High School. Cameron has been to camps at Benedictine, Iowa State, and Lindenwood this summer. It is surprising to see the experienced runner not hold any offers from schools in the area. Expect Cameron’s regional recruitment to heat up before 2024 gets here.
Cameron’s balance, vision, and lateral quickness allow him to create in crowded spaces in the open field. Coaches like Cameron’s combination of power and burst displayed exploding through holes and running over defenders in power run schemes. Strength as a blocker in pass protection and experience handling the ball outside of traditional handoffs highlights Cameron’s ability to be a versatile third down back in college.
Alexzander Thompson Alexzander Thompson 6’1″ | 170 lbs | WR Winnetonka | 2024 MO is a two-sport athlete out of Winnetonka High School. The good-sized receiver has been invited to numerous camps and game day visits, but it is surprising not see any offers come Alexzander’s way from schools showing him interest. Don’t be surprised when Alexzander receives more than one offer before his senior season is up.
Alexzander’s strong hands and athleticism shows completing contested jump balls in the endzone. Lateral quickness and good acceleration get displayed when Alexzander beats smaller press defenders without using physicality to gain vertical separation. High football IQ shows in Alexzander’s usage of leverage at the top of routes and good spacing when his quarterback is forced to create outside the pocket. Alexzander’s separation ability, large radius, and ability to absorb contact at the catchpoint give him the potential to develop into a do-it-all X receiver in college.
