Kenosha County has long been developing college level football prospects. The Class of 2024 is well on it’s way to continuing that tradition. The group of athletes coming out of the schools across Kenosha County, including Indian Trail, Kenosha Bradford, and St. Joseph Catholic Academy, are Need-to-Know prospects. Today, we begin a series looking at the top prospects from the county. We start with the ten best that are currently uncommitted.
The top uncommitted athlete coming out of Kenosha County is the Westosha Central WR. The 6’1″ 190 lbs WR seems to be under the radar overall. He holds offers from Carthage, Oshkosh, and MNSU- Mankato. The top 10 WR put up 69 receptions, 1000+ yards, and 15 TDs in 2022. He is a proven athlete with the talent to match. Collin is gifted at tracking the football in the air. His tape has multiple examples of him making acrobatic catches to secure downfield passes. His soft hands and great hand-eye coordination help him create a large catch radius. Collin has proven he can make the concentration catches in traffic as well. After the catch, Meininger is a tough, physical runner who will run through contact while piling up yards after the catch. Check out his tape below. Don’t miss out on the talented WR.
LJ could be utilized in several different ways at the next level. He has a strong argument to be the top uncommitted dual threat QB in the state. On the ground, Dagen is a smooth athlete with the top end speed to be able to create monster runs when given a seam to green grass. His lateral movement and acceleration make him very hard to corral, even in tight quarters. As a passer, LJ wins with accuracy and touch to all the levels of the field. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Dagen even be looked at at other positions outside of QB because of his excellent athletic abilities. Take a look at the tape of one of the more under the radar prospects. He holds an offer from Carthage.

Kenosha County is full of under the radar steals. One of my favorites is the SJCA RB Jayden Gordon Jayden Gordon 5’10” | 165 lbs | RB St Joseph Catholic Academy | 2024 State WI . The 5’10” RB is an explosive prospect who is still looking for that first offer. Jayden is a menace out in space. He has the speed to get to the edge and beat pursuit angles deep downfield. With the ball out in space, Gordon has the agility and acceleration to be able to make defenders miss and then quickly pull away. That acceleration comes in clutch between the tackles as well. In there his burst pairs well with his vision. As soon as he finds the hole, Jayden can stick his foot in the ground and get to top speed by the time he is flying through the gap. This kid has the talent to be utilized out in space and create mismatch nightmares at the next level.
Kade is an intriguing prospect who fits at either the WR or TE position. He checks in at a well put together 6’4″ 210 lbs. That big frame moves well on the field also. He runs a 4.78 40, 4.38 pro agility, and a 7.32 L-Drill. The big target is a fluid, flexible athlete, and that gives him the ability to run smooth routes and open up plenty of separation from DBs for his QB. That short area quickness shows up after the catch also where he has the wiggle to make defenders miss. Of course, the big man also has the contact balance and power to break tackles and pick up yards after the catch and after contact. The soft handed, athletic, WR/TE holds offers from Valpo and Duluth. Check out his fill. He deserves far more attention.
An athlete new to my radar while diving into each school is the big target out of Kenosha Bradford. The WR/TE measures in at 6’3″ 190 lbs, and he uses that big frame to be a physical presence on the field. Nolan is a problem after the catch thanks to his physicality. He is strong and well balanced. That allows him to run through arm tackle attempts. He does well to keep his feet moving through contact. Before the catch, Nolan has enough speed to be able to stretch the field vertically. The big target does a good job of going and getting the ball, either above the rim or laying out and using his soft hands to haul it in. The raw prospect has a lot to work with. He holds offers from Eau Claire and Oshkosh currently.
Another intriguing dual threat QB coming out of Kenosha Bradford is the Tremper signal caller. Mason has the size at 6’3″ 210 lbs and he uses that size to be a physical runner when he decides to keep it on the ground. The speed is sufficient to be able to create big plays when he breaks through the front seven. Through the air, Mason is able to adequately drive the ball down the field with his arm strength. The accuracy to every level is also solid. Prozanski is another prospect who may be an option at more than just QB. With his size, athleticism, and physicality Mason could be an option at OLB. Give him the attention he deserves. He holds offers from River Falls, and Oshkosh.

The 5’10” 190 lbs RB is on the look for his first offer from the next level. I believe we could see a breakout year for Vashawn this fall. His tape show that he can be a three down option. He can play between the tackles and churn his legs for the tough yards. Miner is able to get out in space and has solid overall speed. He also has soft hands to be a threat in the passing game. In the screen game Miner has also shown his short area quickness as he plays in tight quarters. We will see his recruitment attention really take off if he can put together that breakout season. It looks like it will be his backfield this fall.

One of the more productive QBs returning to the field in 2023 is the Westosha Central QB. The QB holds offers from Carthage and Loras College, so far. The 6’1″ 180 lbs ’24 has a live arm that is able to push the ball deep downfield. His accuracy and ball placement are reliable to all three levels of the field, and even when he is on the run outside the pocket. His touch is also very impressive. Brock has multiple examples in his film of dropping the ball in a basket over the shoulder of his receiver or just over the reach of DBs. Brock also has enough speed to be a threat on the ground. Get ready to see a big year out of the QB.
The 6’1″ 170 lbs athlete is a prospect who could make a big jump with a strong season this fall. Hunter brings track speed to the football field. Shoreland Lutheran gets the ball in his hands in as many ways as possible. Whether as a returner, jet sweeps, or as a receiver Rouse is able to stretch the field horizontally and then cut up field for big gains. The ’24 also plays with contact balance to be able to run through tackle attempts for yards after contact. Hunter has a knack for the highlight play when he gets the ball in his hands. Don’t miss out on the impressive athlete. He could play either side of the ball.

We wrap up the Top 10 Kenosha County athletes with an impressive OT out of SJCA. Dylan checks in at 6’6″ 290 lbs. The big man is able to create a big push and open up wide running lanes for the ground game. Dylan is able to overpower DL with his size, and he does a good job of consistently getting his hands on. Dylan brings solid range to the OT position as well. He can get himself in position to have the leverage advantage or get up to the second level. Love also does a great job of running his feet until he finishes his block in the run game. The exciting part is that Dylan can make strides with his lower body flexibility and ovearll technique, and that will make him even more of an impact. He holds an offer from Valpo Football. Give him a look.
