Preseason Preview: Pinnacle Pioneers

<!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Overview</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Pinnacle has had a ton of talk about them across the state all offseason, as they've been a very intriguing program with ton going on. Dylan Raiola sparked up the state when he announced he was transferring to Pinnacle, then shocked everyone when he announced he'd then be playing his senior season in Georgia. However, returning starting QB [player_tooltip player_id='368975' first='Wyatt' last='Horton'] didn't flinch the entire time and remained cool, collected, and continued to lead. He'll return as the starter for his junior season, and I truly believe he needs to be in the conversation of a top 3 QB in the state and a power 5 kid. A legit competitor that has a big chance to spark his trajectory this year. Pinnacle comes off a 9-5 season from 2022 where they lost in the state championship to Highland 37-26. They'll return a good chunk of talent, and all of them will probably be touted with a larger, more crucial role than last year. There's so much talk about what they have lost, including standout Duce Robinson (USC) and Dylan Raiola with the transfer, and I don't think people realize how good Pinnacle can really be with what they have right now. They have an impressive piece of talent in each core category you want on the field 100% of the time, not to mention they are one of the best coached schools in the state with coach Zupke.
