Flowers comes in at our number one quarterback in the 2024 class but also ranks as our number one overall quarterback in the state of Idaho. Flowers is a unique thrower of the football with the ability to make all the throws at every level. He has one of the purest throwing motions we have seen on film and doesn’t have a lot of wasted motion. Where he is truly elite is in his anticipatory throwing where he can really throw his wide receivers open. He throws one of the best deep balls in this class of passers and has good mobility that allows him to escape pressures. Montana is getting a special football player and will have another huge season for Rigby.
Harsin is a relative newcomer to the state of Idaho where he started his career at Eagle before moving to Alabama to play high school football. Now hes back and you can see the development that has taken place over the years. Strong arm that can make all the throws with a unique feel for the game. He shows a high football IQ which can lead back to his coaching father but he puts in the work everyday and is a true student of the game. He has plus athleticism that allows him to move off the spot and he possess the ability to throw from different arm angles. He is going to lead one of the most talented teams in the state this season and should have monster numbers.
Irwin doesn’t always get the recognition that some of the other quarterbacks in the state receive due to the fact that he plays for a brand new high school that’s going into just their third season. All Irwin has done is put up big numbers and make his team better every season. He is a really good athlete that makes a ton of off script and outside of the pocket plays. He has a really quick trigger where the ball gets out of his hands so fast that his underneath and RPO game are excellent. He throws a really catchable ball that allows his player makers to get in open space and do what they do. His leadership is what separates him from many of the other quarterbacks in his class it takes a lot to lead a brand new program and be the face of your school.
Martinez is one of the best deep ball throwers that we have seen on film. His timing and touch are next level which leads to big time explosive plays in the passing game. He has shown some major improvement from his freshman season through his sophomore year. He is in complete control of his own game and understands what he does well which leads to touchdowns. He is a magician in the pocket when it comes to keeping plays alive as he is almost impossible to bring down one on one. He constantly is making defenders miss in the pocket and keeping plays alive while always finding players open down field. Martinez still has two season left and the sky’s the limit for the incoming junior.
