The old-new kid on the block for Eagle had himself one heck of a football game this friday as he led the Mustangs to a 36-33 victory over visiting Meridian. The senior who started his prep career at Eagle before leaving and returning showed why Idaho State made sure to get his commitment this year. Harsin was a do it all player for Eagle and even though his stats might not be show stopping his impact on the game was definite. Harsin went 7-for-15 for 160 yards and two TDs, while rushing for 68 yards and a touchdown. You could see that the Idaho State bound senior was in command all game, making good decisions and showing off some major toughness running the ball. He is primed for a big year this season if the first game was just a taste of what is to come than people around the SIC should be put on notice.

Harsin is a relative newcomer to the state of Idaho where he started his career at Eagle before moving to Alabama to play high school football. Now hes back and you can see the development that has taken place over the years. Strong arm that can make all the throws with a unique feel for the game. He shows a high football IQ which can lead back to his coaching father but he puts in the work everyday and is a true student of the game. He has plus athleticism that allows him to move off the spot and he possess the ability to throw from different arm angles. He is going to lead one of the most talented teams in the state this season and should have monster numbers.

After transferring to Eagle, Harsin is making his presence felt all across the Valley not only walking away with a camp MVP but his recruiting is starting to pick up steam. A compact athlete with a lightning fast release Harsin is able to place the football anywhere on the field at any time. He is a plus athlete who is able to move well and make plays off schedule that defenses have a hard time scheming for. He is a tough competitor with a high football IQ and is able to read defenses with ease. He is going to be the highlight of a really strong Eagle team this season and could walk away a very decorated player when it is all said and done this season.

Harsin is the not so new kid on the block as he is returning to the state of Idaho after being in Alabama. Harsin has had sort of a homecoming transfering to Eagle. Harsin is another plus athlete with a smooth throwing motion. You can tell Harsin is the son of a coach, with his command over not only the field but himself. He never seems to get rattled no matter what is going on around him. He football IQ is high as he constantly shows the ability to make the right play at the right time. He knows when to pull it down and run or when to throw the football away to save a sack. With all the weapons that he has at Eagle it will be no surprise that he will have huge numbers and if he leads the talented Mustangs to a state title it will only further his accolades after the season as the top player in the state.
