Gage Baker Gage Baker 6'1" | 160 lbs | QB Paradise Honors | 2024 State AZ , QB, Paradise Honors ’24
Baker has proven to be a top gunslinger in the state and definitely deserves some more respect to put on his name. In 2022, he threw for 3,837 yards and 54 TD’s while adding another 2 TD’s on the ground. Baker displays solid footwork and pocket mechanics and does a great job hanging in the pocket to deliver throws despite anticipating pressure/hits. Excellent accuracy and placement on all 3 levels of throws and he does a great job using touch, finesse, or velocity when needed.
Nate Barnard, OL, Fountain Hills ’24
Barnard is a huge sleeper in 3A for FHHS, sizing up at 5’11” 260lbs. He recently picked up his first offer from UW-River Falls and should be seeing those D3 and NAIA offers pile up. Barnard possesses a really good center of gravity with the ability to absorb shock in pass pro to hold ground, with terrific hand placement as he shows a good understanding of leverage. Significant mean streak in the run game with good lateral mobility within his frame, as he does a good job knowing when to work to the second level. Expecting a big senior season from Barnard moving forward.
Uriah Tenette Uriah Tenette 5'11" | 170 lbs | ATH Prescott | 2025 State AZ , ATH, Prescott ’25
Tenette is a dynamic, twitched up kid with tons of upside as he enters his Jr. season. Really good COD with the strong ability to make opponents miss and is a sure game changer when he can get into the open field. His natural athleticism provides him the ability to be a difference maker from anywhere he lines up and is flashing signs of translating to both sides of the ball at the college level. He’s a standout basketball player too for Prescott, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see his stock start to spark up soon.
Andrew Trapp Andrew Trapp 5'8" | 150 lbs | WR Scottsdale Christian | 2024 State AZ , WR, Scottsdale Christian ’24
Trapp is a legit big play threat for SCA and I expect him to be a game changer over there this fall. Dynamic player with big play ability given his vision, COD, and explosiveness. He possesses the ability to cut lateral without decelerating to often spring himself loose into space, and can be a slippery kid to bring down 1v1. Easily one of the biggest threats in 2A will return for his sr. season, and should definitely be drawing in some attention.
Mckay Beardall, ATH, ALA-Gilbert North ’24
Beardall had a great Jr. season on both sides of the ball for ALA-GN. Smooth route runner from the slot with the ability to identify holes in zone coverages immediately after the snap. He did a great job manipulating manned up opponents with his feet and hips to frequently generate clear separation. Excellent closing speed and play rec as a DB with good range all around. Fly around, high energy player that could explode here in 2023.
