Highlights
Reed has impressed at multiple stops this off-season and is a physical big bodied athlete for one of the states top teams. He passes the eye test physically and he should have a monster Junior season for Rocky Mountain and continue his impressive off-season this Summer. Due to his size, length and build he could find himself on the defense side of the ball at the next level at strong safety or outside linebacker and is one to watch as he gets closer to pulling in his first offer.
Highlights
Callen has elite speed, and it has showed at multiple events this off-season against top tier talent in both football and track. He is a very twitchy kid with good hips, ball skills and is very fluid in the open field. Already holding an offer from Idaho State, he left the showcase with a Portland State offer and it should only be a matter of time before other FCS schools offer the 2025 prospect as well. Callen is a two-way star for Highland on their loaded roster, and should once again be one of the better two-way players across the state in 2023.
Highlights
Reese has been solidifying himself as one of the better players across Idaho for the past two seasons, and should be one of the states top rushers in 2023. He continues to show that he is a smooth runner with forward lean, good vision in tight windows and flashes short area quickness/lateral movement abilities while having natural hands/good body control out of the backfield. He impressed both in the position drills and during the one on one session of the showcase this past weekend.
Jacobsen could end of growing into an outside linebacker or strong safety by the time it’s all said and done as well, and has a very nice combination of size, ball skills and physical tools for the next level. Over the weekend he showed his range, long speed and ability to move laterally, break quickly and seems very comfortable both in space and in the box. Through his first two seasons for Rocky Mountain, he has played multiple positions and is a no brainer next level talent with some upside.
