Vanek is a very athletic prospect for his size and has a high floor at the next level at either guard or tackle in college. He is a polished blocker with good bend/strength, a explosive initial punch and can get out and block in space as well. Checking in inside the top ten at his position in our rankings, he is a no brainer NAIA+ kid that has seen his stock rise in recent weeks and has some offers rolling in. Vanek has picked up offers from College of Idaho and Montana Tech and could see other D3, NAIA opportunities come his way in the coming weeks.

Vanek is one of the better interior offensive lineman across Idaho, and checks into our rankings inside the top 10 at the position, and just inside the top 40 overall. He moves well for his size, can get immediate push off the LOS and is a true mauler inside that overpowers defenders with his size and initial strength. Vanek also shows he can get out and block in space/pull when needed and scrape to the second level with good body control and takes the proper angles. Vanek is one of the better overall players across the state, and holds offers from both Carroll College and Whitworth University from the Northwest Conference.

Vanek is a massive guard that really moves and bends well for a player of his size. He is one of the toughest players to get away from if he gets his hands on you with a strong punch and drive. He is really able to get a ton of movement on interior defensive lineman especially on down blocks across the front. He has quicker feet than one might think and does a good job in pass protection and will only improve as he goes into his senior season.
