Davis is one of the most high impact defensive players coming off a tremendous senior season for Lakeland and remains one of the top available defensive prospects across the state. He’s a very fluid defender that excels against the run, is a true thumper in the box that can take on blocks, scrape over the top and collapses the pocket quickly either up the middle or off the edge. He shows pass rush abilities with active hands and bend, is explosive at the point of attack while playing with a high motor and always around the ball. He has a strong frame and as well built for the position and is looking to be a late steal for a college program.

Davis is a true plug in the middle of the Lakeland defense, and is a thumper in the box that can take on blockers, scrape over the top and shows closing speed behind the line of scrimmage as well. He also shows the abilities to apply pressure from various angles, is a bender around the edge and brings violence at the point of attack. In coverage, he shows he can cover the flats and run with bigger receivers and tight ends downfield, and has fluid hips in transition while moving extremely well for his size. Currently, he holds offers from George Fox and Minnesota-Morris and is going to be a big time steal as we near the second and final national signing day.
