Continue ReadingBosch should be in the athlete category as he does some of everything for Woodbridge. The long-term outlook for him will be at wide receiver; as a wide receiver, he is one of the cleanest prospects you’ll find.
He doesnt fit the size profile you’d like however his ability to get open is second to none in this class. Watching his tape and seeing him play in person his combination of route running, agility, and suddenness is exciting to watch. He can also make it happen after the catch; using his footspeed and elusiveness to either run past defenders or make them miss.
Bosch’s name is starting to heat up this summer. As he earned offers from Bucknell, Sacred Heart, and Saint Anselm. With the way Bosch is ascending as a player, its safe to assume his offer list will continue to get longer as the summer progresses.
Clyburn is a problem as a wide receiver, but most of his highlights are as an edge rusher. As an edge rusher, he’s a disruptive force, specifically, by causing pressures, batted passes, and interceptions.
Clyburn is an athlete playing edge rusher. As there isnt much polish to his game, but has the requisite, length and explosivness to be effective. He predominantly lines up standing up and has some solid ankle flexibility when bending around the edge. In addition, Clyburn’s skillset and body type is similar to Pleasantville’s Khalil Witherspoon Khalil Witherspoon 6'5" | 210 lbs | LB Pleasantville | 2024 State NJ just without the freakishly long arms.
Unlike, Witherspoon, I would selfishly love to see Clyburn make wide receiver his full-time position. However, he has the tools to play edge rusher at the highest level and his name will continue to rise as the summer progresses. Clyburn has received offers from Liberty, Maine, Delaware State, Kent State, Syracuse, and LIU.
Bailey is a player that keeps making his way onto my Twitter feed and seems to be loved by his teammates.
Self-proclaimed “Human Joystick” elusiveness is what Bailey brings to the table and specializes in making defenders miss. He can lineup at a multitude of different positions and alignments and mainly makes his living off screens, swing passes, out routes, and special teams.
If I have one concern about his game and the way he wins. For as elusive as he is he doesnt have the requisite speed to pair with it, which is what you see from the top-end players. He’s only a sophomore and fully expect him to improve in this area. If he does he will be important for an already stacked St. Joseph’s Regional team.
This is a prospect who has his best football ahead and he just committed to Temple and they’re going to make the investment in his upside.
At 6’4 215 pounds Dietrich has a nice frame and could reach NFL measurables during his college tenure. On his tape does well on touch passes deep down the field. Whether that’s throwing outside the numbers on in the middle of the field Dietrich can be accurate in attacking the deep parts of the field.
However, for a young man his size, seeing him make a concerted effort to push the ball with more velocity should be a focus for him this upcoming season. Obviously, he has the physical tools tool make it to the next level, but being accurate with the football is of the utmost importance. Fitting into tight windows and throwing with velocity is also important.
As previously mentioned Chris committed to Temple; he makes this list because it’s plausible he can take a huge leap in all areas this upcoming season.
Metivier is a Hybrid tight-end wide receiver who has reliable hands. Jacob is 6’5 220 pounds has a solid frame where he will most certainly add more weight and has long arms which makes for a nice catch radius.
He trending more in the tight-end direction for a few reasons. One, going back to his frame there could easily be a scenario where he plays at 250 or 260 at the collegiate level. Secondly, his skill set is more geared towards the tight end position because he can put his hand in the dirt and be a solid blocker. In addition, he’s not a fluid mover in and out of his route, but he does have strong hands and great concentration.
Jacob earned his first offer from LIU and there’s a great chance this won’t be his last offer of the summer.
