The renaissance of Paterson Eastside is no longer a secret. They are producing winning seasons, deep playoff runs, and talented athletes – Clyburn fits that mold. Profiling as an edge player, the 6’5″ 225lb physical specimen has made his decision as to where he will continue his education and athletic career. With a variety of schools to choose from – a handful of FBS and FCS alike – Clyburn will be heading up to Maine to play for the Black Bears upon graduating next June. My money says that Clyburn told the folks up in Maine that he is the type of player that they could lean on.

Right off the bat, Nyreek is one of my favorite defensive linemen to look out for in 2023. It is hard to believe he is a defensive end with the type of speed he brings to the table. He is extremely quick off of the ball and can blow up a play before it even develops. Runners wills have a hard time getting to the outside because he will be there waiting for them.

Passing his direction is no easy task either. Nyreek can bring the receiver down to the ground quickly, get his hands up and swat it away, or intercept it and run the opposite direction. As a pass rusher, Nyreek drives his shoulder into the tackle and collapses the pocket in on the QB. Look for him to have a huge impact on the field in 2023.
