Day two of the event was Thursday and Prep Redzone was on hand at the event to watch the quarterbacks perform in the drills a college quarterback would perform at a pro day for scouts.
Here is a link to the top five performers from day two according to Prep Redzone.
Other quarterbacks and receivers performed well at the event. Here are some notes and thoughts from day two of the Elite 11.
Lagway doesn’t have the smoothest delivery but he had the biggest hands that I saw of any of the quarterbacks at the event.
The ball jumps out of his hand and I had him making 17 of the 20 throws. He had one of the tighter spirals on the day and has zip on the shorter throws.
Lagway’s rollout and pylon throw to the right was arguably the best of the day and got him props from the coaches and players.
Highlights
Jackson was the other uncommitted quarterback at the event. He has a lot of zip on his throws and he was pinpoint accurate to the sidelines.
He threw well off-platform and didn’t appear to wear down on the later throws which shows endurance. I had him making 16 of the 20 throws.
Another scout told me that Wilson did not have a strong showing on day one of the Elite 11. He was the last quarterback to throw on day two and was hitting receivers in stride.
His release is smooth and repeatable and it’s easy to see why he is the top quarterback in Utah. He is confident and was clicking with the receivers who were exhausted after running routes for three hours.
Wilson throws well off-platform and I had him connecting on 16 of 20 throws.
O’Neil started hot with near perfect throws for his first six of the pro day on day two. He has a high release and while the spiral isn’t as tight as some of the other top performers, the ball got there just fine on the deep throws.
I had him making 16 of the 20 throws and he got a 43 score from the judges.

OTHER NOTES AND THOUGHTS
Will Cianfrini of Ball, Texas was easily the most impressive receiver of the day and drew a lot of attention from the scouts and coaches on hand. He has a huge catch radius and made some of the most challenging catches look easy.
Highlights
These are the four other receivers that stood out to me running routes for the quarterbacks. Matthews was the most physically impressive player at the event. Johnson made some incredibly difficult catches but had an easy drop in the endzone on a pass late. Shane Rosenthal Shane Rosenthal 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR Newbury Park | 2025 State CA wouldn’t go up for the deep balls early but he was one of the rare guys who got better as the day went on.
It’s important to note that the majority of the skill players were doing drills on the other field away from the quarterbacks.
Julian Sayin Julian Sayin 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Carlsbad | 2024 State CA of Carlsbad was Prep Redzone’s MVP for day two.
“I had a great time out there, just having one with no pressure,” Sayin said. “You start getting loose and try having the most fun that you can.”
“We’ve learned so much as far as leadership, confidence and a lot of things about playing quarterback,” Sayin said. “All these guys have been really great the past few days and we have built good bonds and connections.”
Friday is the final day of the three-day event and it will be entirely made up of 7-on-7.
