Let’s take a quick look at some names that are on fire presently in the class of 2026. These playmakers show a skillset that has the big universities salivating over untapped potential and vacillating over when to pull the trigger on offers.
Max Moore I QB/LB I 6’2 180 I Manford HS
Max Moore is coming off of his freshman season and looking to make waves in his sophomore showcase. Moore is a 4 sport standout who has been thriving at the quarterback position. To give you a peek off into his mentality; Moore is a quarterback who also plays linebacker! QB1 plays with grit and aggression beyond his age. He already has made looking off the safety and pump fake action permanent parts of his ambiance. He stands tall in the pocket and commands the offense through mentality, IQ, and footwork. He has been a mainstay on the camp circuit this summer and his name has begun to circulate in the right direction.
Xavier Harmon Xavier Harmon 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB Conroe | 2026 State TX I ATH I 6’1 170 I Conroe, Texas
Xavier Harmon Xavier Harmon 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB Conroe | 2026 State TX is a long and rangy do it all type of athlete. He is a two-sport varsity athlete heading into the Fall season. Harmon was impressive during the 7v7 cycle, camp tours, and spring practices. He utilizes his speed and length on both sides of the ball producing interceptions and “head tops” when competing for the 50/50 pass. Harmon showed that he can create space and hold his cushion as a defensive back guarding true number ones and in like measures eat up cushion as a receiver when facing zone or man concepts. Look for him to have a huge sophomore season and solidify himself as one of one the ones to watch for the class of 2026.
TaiYion King I LB I 6’2 210 I Port Arthur, Texas
Fresh off of a prestigious offer from Texas A&M; the last time I introduced you TaiYon “Tank” King he was listed as a sleeper based on the film study! Now once again by way of Prep RedZone Texas, we have another one who is no longer a sleeper! We love these types of “I told you so” moments! This kid is not only a great athlete but he is one of the most genuinely hard-working competitors you’ll meet. He was a blur in coverage in the spring and on the camp circuit. His body is progressing at a rapid pace and If I had to make an early comparison it would be to a young Justin Williams Justin Williams 6'2" | 200 lbs | LB Conroe Oak Ridge | 2024 State TX (Top 10 LB nationally) of Oak Ridge High School in Conroe, Texas. Look for this Power 5 newborn to grow into a full-fledged man amongst boys in the game of football and remember that you heard it here first!
Jordan Davis Jordan Davis 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB Dallas HSAA | 2026 State TX I DB I 6’2 185 I Dallas, Texas
Another Prep RedZone sleeper will enter his sophomore season fresh off of an offer from Lamar University and listed as the number one ranked safety for the class of 2026. Davis has the size and range to do whatever he wishes on the backend with grace. Coming from a household with two older brothers who are 6’6 defensive ends with D1 offers and talent (Jalen & Desean Davis), the only question marks will be whether or not Jordan’s body allows him to stay on the backend or have to transition up to the front seven. Either way, he will continue to dominate based on the muscle memory and skillset he already possesses. Look for the baby Cam Chancellor to blow up many more receivers in the 23-24 season.
