Our Spring rankings update pinpointed even more players from the 2024, 2025 and 2026 classes. For a variety of reasons, our team decided that each of those new additions were worthy of a coveted spot in our rankings.

But we'd be naive to think we've evaluated everyone or didn't miss a few along the way.

PRZ South Carolina is constantly looking at as many of the 10,000 prep football players in the SCHSL and SCISA ranks as possible. Now, the Community Film Room is back.

In each edition, we'll break down five (currently) unranked players from across the state to let you see what we're seeing. The series will lead right into the the start of the 2023 football season and - not long after - our next rankings update.

In Episode 33, we've got a 1,000-yard receiver, a shifty H-Back surrounded by talent, an interior lineman who can play all three spots, a defensive lineman who who allows his teammates to shine and a linebacker with two years to see how far he can go.

[player_tooltip player_id='1157942' first='Cleve' last='Tellery'] DL, Ridge View

Tellery is every bit of a wrecking ball, chiming in at 5-foot-10 and a shade over 300 pounds. He can get into the backfield (made clear by the highlight around the 1:05 mark), pursue on his side of the line (:50) and handle double teams left and right (pretty much throughout). His greatest attribute is that last part. Tellery (17 tackles, three TFL last year) taking on all comers in the trenches allows for Ridge View's consistently dangerous linebacking group to do its thing less obstructed. This coming year, much of that glory will again head to [player_tooltip player_id='728148' first='David' last='Matthews']. But we can see how much of a role Tellery has in this defense's success.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249768' first='Keshon' last='Washington'] TE, Summerville

Washington is even more evidence how many weapons Summerville will be carrying into the 2023 football season. The 5-foot-9, 205 pounder gives head coach Ian Rafferty a ton of options with the position, as Washington can take on multiple jobs. He can line up in the backfield and become and extra blocker, start next to the tight end and seal the edge or line up in the slot and get toward the sideline in a hurry. His size leaves him paving holes, but he's got reliable hands and made some acrobatic snags last year, too. Did we mention he's got a sub-4.6 40 on the books? Like we said, another weapon.

Kingston Taylor OL, Wando

The Warriors are going to have their work cut out for them in terms of ending a three-year streak of losing records. But let's not forget that 3,000-student schools are rarely devoid of talent. Taylor has remained hidden for too long. The interior lineman is a verified 6-foot-1 and 305 pounds worth of blocking furry. What's more, he's more than capable at the center position, where Wando needs him to do exactly that after snapping in shotgun formations. Taylor has two years of eligibility remaining, and his productivity at center or guard is on a smooth trajectory right now.

[player_tooltip player_id='1012718' first='TyDarion' last='Grier'] WR, Fairfield Central

You don't catch 73 passes for 1,100-plus yards and nine touchdowns in a season without running solid routes, breaking a few tackles and mixing in a decent amount of speed. The 5-foot-9, 170-pound Grier did all of that last season as a sophomore, when he burst onto the scene alongside our No. 3 overall player in the Class of 2026, quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='473002' first='Cameron' last='McMillon']. It's not out of the equation that Grier spends the next two seasons putting up monster numbers and he finishes his career with north of 4,000 career receiving yards.

[player_tooltip player_id='1013114' first='Antwain' last='Jones'] LB/DL, Lake City

Jones (pictured) is one of those guys who looks even better in person than he does on film. And his film ain't bad. The 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker and edge is going to move back and forth between the two roles this year again after learning on the job during his sophomore season. He's a hard-hitting tackler in the open field and strong in pursuit behind the line of scrimmage. He's got the type of frame that would easily support another 15-20 pounds, yet, he's got enough in the tank to motor when he needs to.
