For several reasons, multiple talented recruits each year fall beneath the recruiting radar and become what some may call "sleepers". In Georgia, with the sheer amount of elite talent we see, getting overlooked is normal. Here, I uncover 22 prospects that I believe are the best-undervalued prospects in Georgia. We start with the offense.

QB: [player_tooltip player_id='661384' first='Baxter' last='Wright'], 2024, Gainesville

Wright is the definition of a gamer. He isn't the type of prospect that will wow you with technique or scare you coming off the bus, but he is an elite playmaker that has led Gainesville to a lot of wins. He is a gifted athlete that can make defenders miss and scamper to the endzone. He also has outstanding field vision and is able to rocket the ball into hard-to-reach spots on the field. Whoever lands Wright might land the steal of the class in Georgia.

RB: [player_tooltip player_id='275983' first='Jaiden' last='Daniels'], 2025, RB, Commerce

Since arriving on the high school scene, Daniels has done nothing but produce at an extremely high level. He somehow topped his insane freshman-year numbers with an even better sophomore year. Daniels is a smaller back with outstanding elusiveness and body control. He can piece his way through the first two levels while maintaining balance and locating running lanes in the secondary. He should outplay whatever stock he generates coming out of high school.

WR: RaSean Matthews, 2024, Benedictine Military

Matthews spends the majority of his time at WR, but he lines up all over the field and is a valuable member of a talented Benedictine squad. Matthews is a natural playmaker with the ball in his hands. He runs low to the ground and glides across the grass. He also runs crisp routes, tracks the ball well, and has the athleticism to go up and get it. I have an FBS grade on Matthews and would bank on the versatility he provides.

WR: [player_tooltip player_id='670311' first='Cal' last='Faulkner'], 2025, Lumpkin County

Faulkner is still one of the best-kept secrets in north Georgia. He was the top playmaker for what ended up being one of the best seasons in Lumpkin County history. Faulkner is an elite athlete with outstanding ball skills and natural hands. He can and will jump higher than any DB he lines up across. Also, he is a shifty, fluid runner that weaves in and out of running lanes. Faulkner is a TD threat on any play and will see his stock rise with another productive season.

WR: Cameron Loyd, 2024, Walton

Loyd is one of the most consistent and reliable WRs you will find in Georgia. Loyd is a route-runner technician with little to no wasted movement in his game. He is light on his feet and fast, which allows him to create separation with ease. He is also a threat after the catch, showing that he is able to break down defenders and expose any running lane that he is given. Loyd is an elite playmaker and he proved it against some of the best competition in the nation.

TE: Sky Niblett, 2024, Gainesville

Niblett is one of the more well-rounded TEs in Georgia. If he were 6'4, he would be a P5-caliber recruit. His stocky, muscular frame allows him to out-leverage defenders while blocking. He is also a surprisingly fluid route runner with clean, crisp footwork. Niblett has natural hands, showing that he is able to go up in traffic and pluck the ball out of the air away from defenders. Someone at the next level will be getting a gritty playmaker in Niblett.

OL: [player_tooltip player_id='1313887' first='Dylan' last='Villarouel'], 2025, North Forsyth

Villarouel has the size and athletic profile to play at the D1 level. He has developed nicely so far through two years of his high school career, coming in at a firm 6'4 290. He generates the power from his lower body to completely displace big guys up front. Once he sits back and anchors on you in the pass game, it will be hard to create any sort of separation on him. You can't go through him, and he has enough length to make it hard to go around him. Villarouel is a future D1 offensive lineman.

OL: Kobe Jones, 2024, Denmark

Kobe Jones is my pick to become a late riser on the recruiting ranks this year. He has the potential to play at a high level of CFB and will if he can tie everything together. His sheer strength and power is what separates him. He weighs in at a firm 6'3 310 and carries his weight pretty well. He is best used as a road grader up front, displacing defenders and carving away running lanes. He also shows that he can locate defenders in the second level. Don't be shocked if FBS teams get involved here.

OL: Pierson Sears, 2024, Creekview

Sears might not fit the prototypical size for an offensive lineman, but he plays with noticeable violence and has made a name for himself among some smaller schools. He generates jarring force at impact which can crumble even the biggest defenders to their knees. He also shows pass-blocking ability from the C position, helping anchor a clean pocket in the middle. Sears is also super experienced with high football IQ. He will be a valuable addition both on and off the field.

OL: [player_tooltip player_id='137464' first='Bobby' last='Campbell'], 2024, Adairsvlle

Campbell is a super athletic and nasty offensive lineman that physically imposes his will on the defense. He has an uncanny ability to finish, often driving defenders to the turf or several yards downfield until the whistle is blown. He can get to the second level with ease and has the suddenness to match up with faster defenders. This certainly allows him to make some plays as a lead blocker for the offense. Campbell is athletic with a mean streak, two qualities that project well for offensive line prospects.

OL: Luke Surrett, 2024, Cartersville

Surrett is a well-rounded OL prospect who is an unsung hero of the Cartersville offensive front. His 6'4 290 frame makes him well-built for a C and gives him the length and strength to play other offensive line spots. He has more room to grow and maximize his physical capabilities. Surrett shows good flexibility in his ankles, which allows him to recover well and generate power from the turf to move people up front. He also plays with a good base in the pass game and has the length to out-leverage defenders in the middle. I have an FBS grade on Surrett and believe he can play numerous positions at the next level.
