Oscar Frye Oscar Frye 6'1" | 165 lbs | QB Brownsburg | 2027 State IN – Brownsburg – 6’1″ 155lbs – 2027
Frye officially becomes the first ever 2027 recruit I’ve covered, but he forced my hand in doing so. A performance as good as Sunday’s, just forces you to cover him. Consistency is his best friend, and you can tell. He’s got a nice release, can properly drop back, and put the ball in the right spot time and time again. He won the game of “Do Or Die.” A ball placement drill where you’re out if it doesn’t hit a certain area. Frye and 1 other QB were going back and forth for the win. Frye just had this look in his eye and was not going to be beaten. He was more locked in than anyone, delivering with a purpose, and it was straight money. A dominant performance to round out the camp, as well as being fairly consistent throughout. Frye could easily be the QB to grab from the 2027 class when the time comes.

Tyce Whiteman – Zanesville (OH) – 6’2″ 185lbs – 2027
Whiteman was incredible during the live throwing portions of the camp. Being an Ohio recruit, he came over and put his stamp on things. Truthfully, I had no idea he was Ohio until I started this write-up. I was simply watching the best players and taking notes. Whiteman is young, but he’s also got a fantastic frame and a good arm. He doesn’t strain to throw the ball deep and can deliver the ball, even if his feet aren’t set. Raw arm talent, a nice frame, and the ability to throw guys open should give Whiteman a nice high school career.

Connor Cruz Connor Cruz 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Covenant Christian | 2026 State IN – Covenant Christian – 6’1″ 180lbs – 2026
Cruz was easily one of the best surprises at the camp. I’ve covered him before, as I have most of the guys there, but he really stood out in multiple different ways. First off, his frame seems bigger and better than his listed H/W. He’s got an incredible arm and can put great touch on it down the field. He was dropping some of the biggest throws at the camp and didn’t under throw a single receiver. His footwork was alright, but it’s still in development like you’d expect. He’s also a decent athlete who can do some damage with his legs, but his arm really keeps him afloat. There is a lot to like with Cruz, and he made it known on Sunday.

Woody Corey – Brebeuf Jesuit – 6’0″ 180lbs – 2027
Corey is someone who isn’t going to be hidden for very long. His talent and ability to make every throw is evident. He’s got a really good build and seems like he could stand in the pocket and take some big hits. He’s also got a very nice deep ball with a natural arch to it. He doesn’t force the ball into bad spots and can place it where he wants to. He was also one of the better guys when it came to throwing in stride and anticipation. Corey is a young gunslinger who could really light it up when his time comes, and Sunday solidified that for me.
