Earlier this week we revealed our updated 2025 rankings. Here are some of the new players we added (Part 2):

[player_tooltip player_id='837197' first='Ryan' last='Alfaro'], Deming: Alfaro emerged as a dynamic dual threat quarterback in 2022 with 741 yards passing and 890 yards rushing. He accounted for 1,631 total yards and 20 TD for the Wildcats. Deming reached the 5A semifinals last November and could be back id Alfaro has another solid season.

[player_tooltip player_id='837204' first='Jaen' last='Castro'], Eunice: Emerged in 2022 as one of the top young wide receivers in Class 2A with 22 receptions for 292 yards and 3 TD.

[player_tooltip player_id='837180' first='Elias' last='Martinez'], Cleveland: Martinez transferred from Pojoaque Valley to Cleveland following last season. He brings good size to the Storm (6-1, 175 pounds) and should make an immediate impact at wide receiver or linebacker.

[player_tooltip player_id='837203' first='Victor' last='Parra'], Espanola Valley: Many players contributed to Espanola Valley's surprising season in 2022 and Parra made his impact catching the football. He had 18 receptions for 367 yards and 6 TD. He averaged over 20 yards per catch, highlighting his ability to stretch defenses and outrun defenders.

[player_tooltip player_id='837226' first='Jaydin' last='Ramirez'], Ruidoso: The Warriors captured the Class 3A championship last November on the strength of a solid running game and a stout defense. Ramirez contributed to both by rushing for 312 yards on 52 carries and making 41 tackles with 6 TFL and 1.5 sacks. Ramirez could become a full-fledges star in 2023.

[player_tooltip player_id='837201' first='Patrick' last='Rodriguez'], West Las Vegas: Rodriguez's 2022 season was cut short by injury but there's no questioning his talent. In just four games, he rushed for over 200 yards and 4 TD, and made 27 tackles on tackles on defense. If he stays healthy for an entire season, he could post some eye-opening numbers. The Dons trio of QB C.J. Perea, speedy WR Devaughn Kensey and Rodriguez will prove difficult for 3A defenses to stop this coming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='837205' first='Marcus' last='Tapia'], West Las Vegas: Yeah, you can add Tapia into the WLV mix as well. He showed promise last season with 17 receptions on offense and 14 tackles on defense. If Tapia turns into a legitimate threat offensively, the Dons will score a pile of points.

[player_tooltip player_id='837213' first='Abran' last='Vigil'], Albuquerque High: Vigil was an effective two-way player for the Bulldogs last season. He carried the ball 40 times on offense and made 44 tackles on defense. With a new head coach, there's optimism in Bulldog City.

[player_tooltip player_id='837220' first='Juan' last='Vigil'], Valley: Vigil possesses a 6-foot-5, 285-pound frame, so his potential is off the charts in terms of becoming an All-State defensive lineman. Last season, he had 39 tackles, 16 TFL and 4 sacks. We'll see Vigil in the season opener when the Vikings square off with Bernalillo on a Thursday night at Milne Stadium.
