<p>We love to talk about the guys in the trenches. Today we want to touch on some guys from Alabama and West Virginia. There are some 6-foot-5 players that need some attention. If they haven't any offers they will be coming soon. Let's check it out.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Braxton Lovejoy, DL, Nitro (WV), 2025</strong></h2>   <p>Lovejoy has a high motor when he is on the field. He is always getting after the quarterback on passing plays. Lovejoy has some long arms that helps keep blockers away from his body. I think that his release from the line could be a lot quicker. He has the ability to be a very dominant defensive lineman. He has good size with some nice movements. I'll be sure to keep up with him. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Christian Abrams, OL, Bob Jones, 2024</strong></h2>   <p>Abrams is a big boy that is very helpful his team's running offense. It looks like he has a great opportunity to be a guard on the next level. Abrams shows great fundamentals on his film. I would love to see him pass protect more on his film. He has the body of an offensive tackle, but we need to see how good his feet are. Abrams is a guy to know in this 2025 class.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Ladarren McClendon, OL, Lee, 2025</strong></h2>   <p>McClendon is a giant in the trenches. He is a mean guy that loves syrup with his pancakes. McClendon does a good job when he gets down the line. He isn't out there reaching for players being impatient with his hands. McClendon does a good job of bumping a defensive lineman before he goes to the next level to block a linebacker. He does the little things right. He is another player I would love to see have more passing plays on his film. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='422728' first='Malachi' last='Harris'], OL, Mae Jemison, 2024</strong></h2>   <p>Harris is also a very polished player in the trenches. He is definitely going to be a guard on the next level. When I watched his film, I fell in love with his footwork. This brother is dangerous on plays that he has to pull. He doesn't take false steps to get to where he is going. Having good feet is a very valuable traits when you are playing guard. This young man is going to blow up soon.</p>
