About Malachi
Expert Analysis
CJ Marable | Prep Redzone Scout
Harris is a very smooth mover who was frequently asked to execute blocks on the move or in space and does an excellent job of lining up defenders and engaging with form. Can pull across the line and smash defenders in the hole or at the second level. Has the short area quickness to cross a defender’s place and seal them off from the play direction. Gets downfield and disrupts opponents on chunk plays. Overall contact balance is solid. Shows the ability to chip one defender and climb to the second level. Works well on double teams. Protects the edge with knee-bend and light feet, showing above-average lateral quickness. Able to make it to the edge against speed without abandoning his technique. Active with his hands and does a good job of resetting them. Drops an early anchor when he’s playing within his frame.

has been extremely reliable for Anniston throughout the last few seasons. Harris is a really agile offensive guard that has the ability to navigate the field with great ease despite his size. Harris has some impressive mobility that allows him to move quickly and effectively in the run game, which is a huge part of his game. His agility enables him to reach the second level of the defense easily and he consistently opens up massive run lanes for the ball carrier. Harris can take on anyone one on one in the trenches, but completely dominates any opposing linebackers or safeties that try to come down to make plays. Harris’ skill has not gone unnoticed- he has picked up offers from Kentucky, Mississippi State, Louisville and more!

had always been a dominating force on the football field, but he was never content with simply resting on his laurels. Despite already being one of the most dominant offensive guard players in the state of Alabama, Malachi was determined to continue improving each and every day.
This past season, Malachi was extremely dominant on the field. His footwork was lightning-fast, and his strength was almost superhuman. He plowed through opposing defenses with ease, helping his team to a great season and earning himself a spot in the state’s prestigious All-State team.
But what sets Harris apart is his work ethic and dedication to improvement. He is constantly striving to get better, both on and off the field, and his commitment to building his strength and agility is unmatched. This has resulted in Harris showing tremendous growth each and every season, becoming an even more versatile player with each passing year.

has really come into his own at offensive guard for Anniston, his ability in the trenches is dominant- it’s hard to not notice his impact. At 6’4 320, Harris dominates the interior of the offensive line- his work in the run game is phenomenal, he has the athleticism to efficiently set blocks up for his RB. In pass pro, Harris is still super impactful, he has great bend and leverage and has the strength and hands to take on any defensive tackle. Harris has also recieved a bunch of attention at the next level, recently he’s added offers from Mississippi State, South Carolina, and Kentucky!
