Continue ReadingTop ten quarterback prospect based on elite production and phenomenal athleticism. Incredible work ethic that’s going to have him camping at numerous events throughout the Spring and Summer. Fabulous track runner, qualifying for states in the 300m hurdles this past week. Phenomenal effort in the weight room has the junior passer squatting 425+ pounds, pressing 315+ to boot. One of the tougher prospects in the state to outwork, no matter what you see or think seeing him in shorts and a t-shirt, circle his name and watch the tape.
Highlights
Long Island University recently extended an offer to Imhotep’s Joshua Lee-White Joshua Lee-White 6’4″ | 285 lbs | OL Imhotep Charter | 2024 State PA , a 6’3, 290-pound offensive linemen prospect that boasts one of the more intriguing frames of any comparable 2024 OL prospect. There are so many talented trench players at Imhotep, that often Anthony White’s name gets lost in the mix. We hound about many of the young studs ready to take over the unit, yet let’s not overlook this athletic soon-to-be senior. A body suitable for the court, White is as lean as you can cut 290 pounds. If you see Joshua Lee-White Joshua Lee-White 6’4″ | 285 lbs | OL Imhotep Charter | 2024 State PA ‘s name on your roster, make sure you mark him off.
Caiden Pines Caiden Pines 6’0″ | 185 lbs | WR Cumberland Valley | 2024 State PA took Twitter along for his two-month journey visiting numerous schools interested in his talents. Pines visited Penn State, Saint Francis, Bucknell, and Holy Cross all in a matter of a month and a half. If I’m a betting man. I’d imagine the Cumberland Valley athlete is going to make his rounds at college camps this Spring/Summer. If so, don’t be surprised to see him tear up the turf at either WR or DB. This young man has secured a real D1 grade out of us. Pines also self-reported a 4.57 40 time that is going to show at any position he decides to camp at. I expect schools to pull the trigger at these events, circle Pines’ name if on roster.
Here’s a prospect that has a real shot at being ranked inside the top ten at his position. That notion from us alone should have college coaches circling his name on rosters if he camps this Spring/Summer. Allentown Central Catholic’s Nasir McLean Nasir McLean 5’9″ | 145 lbs | ATH Allentown Central Catholic | 2024 State PA has been relatively quiet, doesn’t mean the young man hasn’t been working hard on his craft, in the weight room, or out visiting and making connections with potential college suitors. Regardless of what he’s been up to lately, if you see the name McLean on your roster, expect to see a playmaker at whatever position he signs up to participate in, that being DB or WR. McLean is a candidate to earn offers before the Fall season begins.
2,100+ rushing yards to his name this past Fall, along with 24 total touchdowns and four 300+ yard games to his name. Plenty of records to his name as well, Aaron Crossley Aaron Crossley 5’11” | 205 lbs | RB Wyoming Area | 2024 State PA out of Wyoming Area HS is an often overlooked prospect in terms of the grand scope of PA football. Highly productive, great on the track and in the weight room too. His track and WR measurables show off his work ethic. A day before the time of writing, Aaron Crossley Aaron Crossley 5’11” | 205 lbs | RB Wyoming Area | 2024 State PA picked up his first offer from Lehigh University. Get this kid on your radar quickly.
Sean Broderick Jr. Sean Broderick Jr. 6’3″ | 250 lbs | OL Father Judge | 2024 State PA picked up his first FCS offer out of Long Island University about a month or so ago. That might open up the floodgates in terms of opportunity for the Father Judge lineman. Two-way capable trenchman that fits the size thresholds many colleges keep. Wrestler, good GPA, solid tape to build off of. Broderick plays in the PCL so competition level is generally always high. An honors society kid, Sean Broderick isn’t going to jump off the turf with his build alone, he’s going to have to win reps against great talent at camps this offseason. I believe he’s more than capable. If you see him on the trail, make sure you give him a good look, he could be an FCS-level gem.
College coaches I speak to are already gauging Chris Lake Chris Lake 6’4″ | 200 lbs | LB Malvern Prep | 2024 State PA ‘s potential. Lake received a high yet modest rank out of us after watching his tape right before releasing our lists. 6’4, 200 pounds, highly versatile skill set that will have him split out at wideout or tight end, or on the other side of the ball, setting the edge and/or rushing the passer at OLB. This is a name that could blow up, a name that could garner FBS attention from the likes of Temple, Akron, etc. He’s a top 100 prospect in waiting, so long as he puts the tape out that we expect. Lake went on a junior day visit to Navy last month. I expect continued interest from the academies moving forward.
