There were players putting up impressive numbers with the L-Drill. Just when my jaw dropped at a time that a player finished with, another player would come along and top that one. Out of all of the prospects that stood out, I am going to talk about the best times by position for the defensive players. Lets find out who made the list.
Matthew Evans Matthew Evans 5’11” | 180 lbs | OL Westmoore | 2024 OK had the quickest and third fastest times out of all of the defensive backs. On his first attempt, he recorded 7.66. His second attempt was even better, being recorded at 7.62. It was impressive seeing how he was able to perform in this drill.
Highlights
Jordan McClain Jr. was impressive, showing off the ability to dominate in the L-Drill to go along with his 6’0 frame. His times were the best out of any of the defensive linemen. His first attempt was the best, being 7.3. His second attempt was slightly worse, coming down to 7.36. It was definitely something remarkable.

Jared Kappenman Jared Kappenman 6’0″ | 205 lbs | LB Edmond North | 2025 State OK showed off very good speed and athleticism throughout the whole event. The L-Drill was no different. He had the second best time out of all of the linebackers. His first attempt was decent, being at 7.56. His second attempt was his best, being 7.38. It was impressive seeing him throughout the whole event.

Fisher Mar recorded good numbers in the L-Drill. He had the best time out of all of the linebackers. Standing at 6’0, he recorded a time of 7.56. His second attempt was the best time, being 7.34. It was impressive seeing him perform.
