OL | Davonta Love Davonta Love 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL Chippewa Valley | 2024 State MI | 2024 | Chippewa Valley | Hudl
Davonta was the #1 best offensive lineman at The HAWK: AM or PM. He consistently won his reps, and only one defensive lineman proved to be a big challenge. Davonta was solid in the agility drills, and his fast feet translated well to competition. He came out of his stance fast, and remained balanced against all opposing defensive linemen. This is an offensive lineman who’s been grinding for quite some time. Plus, it shows with his confidence and poise.
OLB | Evin Fencil Evin Fencil 6'2" | 210 lbs | DL Dearborn | 2024 State MI | 2024 | Dearborn | Hudl
As I watched the LBs in the agility portion, I noted that Evin was the biggest standout out of all the LBs. Evin is fast and balanced with drills, and it translated well to competition. He consistently won his reps and guarded RBs very well, even though that’s not what he’s known for. This is a lean and strong, but at the same time very quick linebacker who will be a great OLB in college. Anyone who attended this showcase would agree with my analysis. This is because Fencil immediately received offers from Hope and Olivet when the showcase concluded. Excited to see what Fencil is able to do next season, and I could easily see him getting Division 2 offers sometime soon.
MLB | Hassan Sareini Hassan Sareini 5'11" | 210 lbs | LB Dearborn | 2024 State MI | 2024 | Dearborn | Hudl
Hassan also performed great at this showcase, as he was the 2nd-best in the agility drills and did great during the competition. Hassan is your typical MLB, both in build and play style. Insanely strong, good speed, great reaction on film. His Fall 2022 accolades of All-Region, alongside a 3.87 GPA make him a solid DIII prospect. There were a few games last year where he absolutely took over, and he’s been active this offseason with an impressive showing here. Hassan currently holds offers from Hope, Lawrence Tech, Olivet, and Siena Heights.
DL | Austin Ericson | 2025 | Romeo | Hudl
Keep an eye on Austin Ericson this Fall because we could be looking at a Division 2 prospect. Ericson was unblockable. Out of his couple-dozen 1v1 reps, I only counted 2 that he truly lost, and after those losses, he took coaching very well. His initial burst off the line oftentimes left opposing linemen off-balance, and he was able to combine speed and power to achieve a wide variety of pass-rush moves. Good club, rip, and overall understanding of his position. Division II schools and MAC programs should keep a close eye on Ericson.
OL | Adham Hashem | 2024 | Canton | Hudl
Adham was one of the most impressive linemen I saw last week, as I have 5 wins and only 1 loss on the reps I saw. He was solid, being balanced, never over-committing, and putting his hands right on the D-Lineman’s frame. I really like the potential with Adham, and he’s already received a Divison 1 offer from Western Kentucky.
