There was a lot of expectation and interest leading up to the Prep Redzone Prospect Tour in Georgia. Nearly 100 of the most talented players in Georgia and beyond showed out at the event. Here are a few of those guys that can be considered “GameChangers”.
Gerritt Kemp – 2025 – WR – Hebron Christian
In my opinion, Kemp has one of if not the most impressive showings during our prospect tour. Kemp’s 6’3 170 pound frame naturally drew some eyes. He has a good frame and has plenty of room to add more muscle. Where he really shined was during the competition segment of the showcase. He showcased some impressive suddenness and change of direction for a bigger receiver and offered a wide catch radius for the QB. Numerous times, he rose over defenders to highpoint the football and come down in bounds. Kemp validated some of the hype. With his size and ability to separate, he is certainly a GameChanger.
Kobby Sakyi – 2025 – EDGE – Roswell
Simply put, it looks like Sakyi was built in a lab. He stands on a stout foundation and has incredible length. He pairs up some violent hands and good bend with his length, which allows him to free himself up and get after the QB. Being able to get hands-on him is no easy task as is a good athlete and shows some impressive burst for a bigger prospect. Sakyi was one of the prospects that held P5 offers coming into the event, and he certainly proved to be that caliber of a prospect.
Alex Payne Alex Payne 6'5" | 265 lbs | OL Gainesville | 2025 State GA – 2025 – OT – Gainesville
Payne was the most impressive prospect physically at the camp. At 6’6 265, he towered over everyone else and has some impressive length. Some younger prospects at his size typically move a little stiff, but not Payne. He moved well and didn’t play too well. It’s not often you find OL prospects that are fairly polished despite having some development ahead of them. Payne is an intriguing prospect with his upside and should become a household name on the recruiting trail very soon.
Julius Columbus Julius Columbus 6'2" | 270 lbs | DL Gainesville | 2025 State GA – 2025 – DL – Gainesville
Columbus is a big and gnarly DL prospect that turned some heads with his sheer power and explosiveness. The camp setting doesn’t really do his game diligence as he isn’t able to really show how much power he can pack. However, he did show the ability to harness his physicality and use it in tandem with some twitchiness to go to work and get after the QB. I am on record saying that Columbus is one of the best interior defensive linemen in Georgia, and he certainly proved me right with his outing.
Cooper Crosby – 2026 – RB – Gulfport
Hailing all the way from Gulfport, Mississippi, Crosby was a standout in the RB room and is as impressive as it gets for freshmen RBs. Simply put, he does not look like a freshman. He has a stout, 6’0 200 pound frame with a strong lower body. I would imagine that his sheer size allows him to really hold his own between the tackles. However, I think he showcased the ability to change directions and burst. If he can tie those two things together, I would not be shocked to see his stock start to climb on the recruiting trail.
