[player_tooltip player_id='1266328' first='Brody' last='Clark'], La Cueva: Clark is a weight room warrior., recently benching over 300 pounds. He saw limited action as a freshman with the varsity in 2022, finishing with 5 tackles, 1 TFL and 1 sack. Expect him to get more playing time with the bears in 2023.

Jayden Munoz, Albuquerque High: Going into his sophomore year, Munoz is already close to 6-feet tall and 230 pounds. Another weight room warrior. Recently squatted 355 pounds. Look for him to either earn a starting job or significant playing time as a backup on Albuquerque High's offensive line this season.

Andrew Himes, Bloomfield: Himes saw limited action as a freshman with the Class 4A football champions last fall but he's made a bigger impact in other sports. In fact, Saturday he won the Class 4A Triple Jump championship at the UNM Complex. With his elite athleticism, Himes could do some nice things for the Bobcats this fall.

Ifo Pili Jr., Centennial: Pili, who comes from a family of outstanding football players, is already 6-foot-4, 200 pounds. He could develop into an elite offensive or defensive linemen for the Hawks. His father, the city manager for Las Cruces, played at BYU and then about a half dozen years in the NFL.
