Because If no one knows who you are things in your recruiting journey can be slow paced or non existent at all. Here are five offensive players from the 2025 and 2026 classes here in New York that you should get to know.
X’zavion Streiff X’zavion Streiff 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Bishop Ludden | 2026 State NY
X’zavion Streiff X’zavion Streiff 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Bishop Ludden | 2026 State NY
X’zavion Streiff X’zavion Streiff 6’0″ | 170 lbs | QB Bishop Ludden | 2026 State NY is a 2026 Quarterback for Bishop Ludden and last season put up 889 yards passing with 7 Touchdowns and 5 Interceptions and completed 66 of 129 attempts. Streiff also added 108 yards rushing and 2 Touchdowns on 17 carries. Streiff only completed 51% of his passes so, that is something you would like to see him improve upon going into his sophomore year. Has good height at 6’0″ but needs to add muscle mass as his high school career continues as he’s only 168 pounds. On film Streiff throws a very accurate ball at all 3 levels of the route tree. And he does it from the pocket and on the move. Can be a gun slinger at times and try to force some throws which is why he had 5 interceptions. Not the strongest arm but pin point accuracy and hitting wide receivers in stride helps him overcome that. Should he develop more arm strength as he gets older he can become one of the top quarterbacks in Upstate New York. Hopefully this year Bishop Ludden unleashes more pass plays to take advantage of Streiff quarterback skills. If the playbook opens up anymore for him he should easily eclipse 1500 yards passing.
Aiden Pedreros Aiden Pedreros 6’5″ | 220 lbs | TE Monsignor Farrell | 2025 State NY is a prospect out of Mosignor Farrell high school and at 6’5″ 220 pounds he has great size to play a multitude of positions but his best fit is Tight End and has ideal size for the position. Can play inline, in the slot or out wide or as an H-back, and while not the best route runner he makes do with his size and catch radius. Not the best but a more than willing blocker who sometimes uses angles to cut off defenders from making a play. Downfield blocking is above average and his size completely smothers smaller defensive backs. Needs to add muscle mass to his 6’5″ frame and an ideal weight would be 235-240 ponds. Has begun to receive some early interest from the likes of UMass, Buffalo and Maryland. Has visited both UMass and Mayland. No offers yet but if Pedreros can light up the camp circuit this spring/summer along with the 7v7 circuit he can position himself for an offer prior to his junior year. And if not by the start of his junior season then a huge junior season will satisfy recruiters as he already has the height and length division 1 coaches look for in prospects. Keep an eye out on Aiden Pedreros Aiden Pedreros 6’5″ | 220 lbs | TE Monsignor Farrell | 2025 State NY .
Carson Panebianco
Carson Panebianco
Carson plays for Western New York Powerhouse Jamestown and he’s in line to be one of the next standout players for Jamestown long history of talent. His sophomore year film shows a crafty wide receiver that understands where the open spaces are at against zone teams. Does a good job siting down and making himself available to his quarterback. Not really a burner but has good twitch and and consistently picks up yards after the catch. Doesn’t run many routes within the route tree, but that could be due to his teams offensive scheme. Can be a body catcher at times, but those when he does high point the football shows he has a good catch radius. Panebianco stands 6’0″ 195 pounds, so he has good size for the wide receiver position. Shows he can possibly become a FCS level prospect but must continue to develop and catch more passes with all hands and less body. A good showing at prospect camps and Carson showing the ability to run the route tree will do him good. I’m excited to watch Carson’s development over the next two season he has left of high school ball.
Bryce is an absolute route technician who plays for the combine team of Clymer/Sherman/Panama out in Western New York. While CSP is a class D school Byrce has very good twitch in his running style and route running which allows him to gain separation in route and at the top of his routes. Does a good job catching with his hands, and has a second gear once he catches a pass. Turns into a running back after he catches a pass and makes it hard for Defensive backs to tackle him one on one. Finished the year with 74 receptions 761 yards and 6 Touchdowns during the 2022 season. On the defensive side of the ball he plays Cornerback but his future if it does end up being on the defensive side will be at Safety and not corner. Racked up 26 solo tackles and 10 assist tackles for a combined 36 total tackles to go along with 3 interceptions. Even though he poses the requisite height for a college corner he lacks the really explosive hips in transition phase but does a good job with his weave which gives the indication of more of a safety than corner feel with him. Defeats blocks and throws his body into the tackle which you love to see. Byrce though will more than likely be an offensive recruit and that’s where I like him the most.
Collin White Collin White 5’10” | 160 lbs | ATH Westhill | 2025 State NY is a very talented and good wide receiver for Westhill (Section 3). Collin does a great job catching passes with all hands, and rarely do you ever see him catch with his body. That trait alone allows for Collin to maximize every opportunity he gets with the ball in his hands. Stands 5’10” and weighs 145 pounds and plays the slot but can play either the Z or H inside receiver position and it allows him to create ample space at the top of his routes. Very productive for a sophomore starter and put up 33 receptions 604 yards and 9 Touchdowns on offense and put up 3 interceptions and 2 Forced fumbles on defense leading Collin be named 1st Team All-League and 3rd Team Class B All-State. White is also picking up interest from the likes of Wagner (FCS), Saint Anslem (DII), and expect that interest to grow here throughout the spring and summer. And with another productive season with more than likely more receiving yards and touchdowns…this time next year we’ll be talking about how many offers Collin holds from the FCS level.
