Here is a look at some of the players from Orange County who are new to the rankings or Watch List.
Clark has the second-most receiving yards for a returning player at Los Alamitos entering this season. As a freshman he caught 20 passes for 303 yards with three touchdowns.
Los Alamitos likes getting him the ball on screens and underneath routes, but he has the ability to create separation on deeper routes. He can make plays after the catch and has burst.
Clark has nice showings at the Rival and Under Armour Camps. He got a handful of offers prior to his freshman season.
Dixon-Wyatt saw some playing time at the end of varsity games last season. The freshman caught four passes for 55 yards.
He has good body control and isn’t afraid of physicality from defenders.
Dixon-Wyatt has a lot of offers already including Georgia, Texas A&M, Florida and Washington among others.
Jennings was arguably the most productive freshman at the varsity level in the Trinity League. The defensive lineman had 55 tackles, 16 for a loss.
He is an interior defensive lineman who is mostly a 3-technique on film. He has good power pass rush moves and does a nice job eating up double teams in the run game.
Jennings has an offer from Northern Arizona.
Lendsey was the leading rusher for Santa Margarita last season with 269 yards on 27 carries.
He is a good runner in between the tackles and has solid field vision. He has good lateral quickness and can make guys miss at the second and third levels.
Medyn got significant playing time when Orange Lutheran played St. John Bosco and looked solid against the best team in the nation.
He competed at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase and I was really impressed with his arm strength. The ball jumps out of his hands and his release is smooth.
Medyn is picking up steam with offers from Southern Methodist, Arizona State, Texas A&M and others. It will be interesting to see how Orange Lutheran incorporates him in the offense with TJ Lateef TJ Lateef 6’2″ | 185 lbs | QB Orange Lutheran | 2025 State CA also at quarterback. Medyn is just too good not to be getting at least some playing time at the varsity level.
