Helaman Casuga || QB || 6’1 || 185 || Timpview High School || 2026
Casuga is confident in the pocket and always seems to make the right decision. Our top-ranked quarterback and player in the class of 2024 helped the Thunderbirds reach the 5A state championship last fall. He’s comfortable navigating the pocket and goes through his progressions at a good pace. Casuga has footwork better than most senior quarterbacks, and he’s a natural thrower of the football. He can decimate defenses with accurate deliveries at each level of the field, play after play. He went toe to toe with some of the state’s top quarterbacks in 2022 and has an extremely high ceiling for what he can accomplish in the next three years.

Dahle does a great job placing the ball where only his intended target can bring it in. He can make accurate throws outside the numbers and over the middle of the field. Dahle does a good job buying his receivers time to get open downfield by evading pressure. He can reset his feet after escaping the pocket and keeps his eyes downfield while on the move behind the line of scrimmage. Dale has a lively arm he uses to make off-platform deliveries on the money over 15 yards downfield. He goes through his progression at a good pace and doesn’t lock onto one receiver.

Parker isn’t afraid to take a hard hit in the pocket if it means he can make a play for his team. He stands tall and goes through his progressions at a good pace. Even when there is pressure on him, he doesn’t panic. Parker does a good job stepping up in the pocket and will give his teammates chances to make plays on the outside. He has a quick release and knows where his hot routes are if blitzed. Parker excels at escaping pressure and can hit his receivers in stride while running away from pass rushers. He takes what the defense gives him and does a good job checking down passes rather than trying to force something deep.

Finau is a dynamic dual-threat quarterback who can beat defenses in a variety of ways. Defenders struggled to figure out how to stop the tough freshmen who constantly made plays with the ball in his hands. Finau makes a great decision in the option of the game of when to give or keep the ball. He can beat linebackers to the edge and break out of tackles. In addition, Finau runs hard every time he keeps it himself and has a good vision he uses to avoid big hits. He also has a powerful arm he uses to keep safeties out of the box. As he continues to develop as a passer, he could be one of the state’s top quarterbacks in the near future
