Prep Redzone takes a look...

An impressive 7A tight end out of North Gwinnett who is starting to see his recruitment pick up, Funderburk is a 6-foot-4 220-pound tight end/defensive end who can make plays on both sides of the ball. He's long, athletic, and made a real impact for the Bulldogs last year as a sophomore, especially on defense. A natural pass-rusher, the young sophomore is explosive off the snap and lived in the backfield all season long. It's not easy to make a giant impact against 7A offensive linemen, especially for his age, but that's exactly what the Bulldog defender was able to accomplish. He sheds blocks, knows how to tackle, and shows great pursuit of thee quarterback. One of the most impactful pass-rushers across Georgia for the 2025 class, Fundeburk lit up the stat sheet as a sophomore, making 59 tackles, 16 TFLs, and a team-leading 15 sacks. He earned a new offer recently from UNC Charlotte, and could see more coming his way sooner than later/

Evan Gober - TE - Brookwood

One of the fastest-rising tight ends across the state for the 2025 class, Gober proved to be one of the best pass-catching tight ends in 7A last year for an impressive Brookwood team. He has easy D1 size at 6-foot-4 230-pounds, and after a big sophomore season, Gober now has the film that should help him see more D1 offers come his way. The reliable tight end earned a new offer recently from Western Michigan, and it certainly won't be his last. He can block in the run game, help in the screen game, and make plays down the field as well. He played fantastic for a sophomore against quality 7A defenses, and he's bound for an even bigger junior season next fall. In 2022, Gober caught 16 passes for 187 yards and three touchdowns. Look for those numbers to increase in a big way next season.

Chandler Jordan - DB - North Gwinnett

A tough, hard hitting defensive back with plenty of versatility, Jordan is a playmaking defender who can play multiple positions in the secondary. The North Gwinnett defender has a long, promising frame at 6-foot-2 190-pounds and played like a future D1 defensive back last year as a sophomore. He shows good instincts against the run and knows how to take off and get after the ball-carrier. He takes great angles and knows how to make a secure tackle in the open field. In coverage, he shows strong ball skills and natural playmaking ability. As a sophomore last season, lining up against some outstanding 7A skill players on a consistent basis, Jordan make 63 tackles, 9 TFLs, one sack, and one INT that was returned for a touchdown. He earned a new offer from Louisville at the end of April, and it appears this is just the beginning for the up and coming North Gwinnett defensive back.
