Most of the best of the best from Williamson Co. competed at Centennial HS on Saturday morning for "The Workout" which took place in front of college coaches and below are the top performers from yesterday's action!

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='288620' first='Ty' last='Collins'] - Nolensville: Collins was the best looking passer at “The Workout” as the ball came out his hands with serious zip and he consistently put the ball on time with accuracy throughout the entire camp practice.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='148876' first='Elisha' last='Nieves'] - Centennial: Nieves continued his strong offseason on Saturday by showing off his strong arm, pocket mobility and continued improvement with putting more zip on his passes.

(RB) [player_tooltip player_id='149149' first='Taner' last='Lee'] - Centennial: Lee is a well known prospect from the Mid-Tennessee who displayed more of his pass catching abilities on Saturday than anything else, proving he can be a weapon out of the backfield.

(RB) [player_tooltip player_id='277795' first='Dominick' last='Hollis'] - Summit: Clocking a 4.46 forty at “The Workout”, Hollis took his recruiting stock to another level showing off big time quickness and speed along with displaying outstanding hands, catching the ball out of the backfield.

(WR) Luke McNeily - Independence: Athletic and quick with excellent feet, McNeily was one of the more impressive receiving prospects on the day, showing off excellent route running and after the catch explosion.

‘25 (WR) [player_tooltip player_id='219435' first='Ben' last='Hubbard'] - Ravenwood: Get to know this wideout as Hubbard may be one of the best slot receiver prospects from our in-state junior class. This guy is ultra quick and great speed after the catch along with a well built frame that would hold up well on the next level.

‘25 (OL) [player_tooltip player_id='219438' first='Kyle' last='Larkin'] - Ravenwood: A massive young man with line versatility, Larkin was one of the best O-line prospects at camp who displayed nice feet, technique and upside as a possible college tackle or guard.

‘25 (OL) A.J. Johnson - Page: Johnson is a talented big guy that has untapped potential and the size to reach the college game. He showed nice lateral movements at the combine along with strong technique play.

‘26 (OL) Jacob Rathbone - Page: Rathbone was one of the best O-line performers on Saturday and someone that will be playing college ball one day. Technique sound with nice size, Rathbone is a versatile interior lineman with good feet.

‘25 (DE) Luke Denman - Franklin: This was one of the biggest surprises for me on Saturday as Denman is a physically well built young man who fits well within a 3-4 defense working the edge against the run.

(LB) [player_tooltip player_id='491443' first='Jackson' last='Bandy'] - Nolensville: Bandy showed up bigger and thicker than previously seen and someone that boosted his stock moving forward. This Knights defender ran well during testing (4.65 40) and proved to move well laterally going through drills.

‘25 (LB) [player_tooltip player_id='219439' first='Eric' last='Hazzard'] - Page: Most college coaches in attendance had their eyes glued to this junior edge rusher who did not disappoint. Hazzard was fluid and bouncy during testing then showed nice athleticism, burst during drills.

(S) [player_tooltip player_id='316773' first='Dominic' last='Reed'] - Centennial: One of the top prospects in attendance, Reed showed off his athleticism, taking snaps on both sides of the ball. His future in college sits best at safety and coaches were definitely examining his skill set on Saturday.

(S) [player_tooltip player_id='767111' first='Cody' last='Williamson'] - Centennial: Williamson was steady all morning, performing well during the testing porting of camp then looking smooth in route running while showing a nice back pedal during DB drills.

(DB) [player_tooltip player_id='207329' first='Jackson' last='Lowe'] - Brentwood: Lowe impressed on Saturday as he showed up bigger and thicker than I expected. His size now has me thinking he could develop further on the next level at safety.

‘25 (DB) [player_tooltip player_id='219396' first='Jayden' last='Smitherman'] - Ravenwood: Keep an eye on Smitherman moving forward! The Raptors junior defender has a certain twitch and aggressive nature about himself that plays well on the college level, especially his secondary versatility as well.

(Ath) [player_tooltip player_id='468497' first='Steele' last='Katina'] - Independence: Mainly working at receiver for the camp, Katina is a big guy with a wide radius that showed nice hands and good speed. This Eagles senior may have more upside on defense as a roaming linebacker.

(Ath) Reece Pickering - Independence: Pickering is an under the radar talent that impressed me on Saturday as the guy has nice size, a great build and position versatility. He camped as a tight end but he has the makeup of a possible edge rusher.

‘25 (Ath) [player_tooltip player_id='310897' first='Kani'' last='Johnson'] - Centennial: Ultra athletic with great versatility, Johnson had a good showing at “The Workout” in front of college coaches that I am sure helped boost his stock.

‘25 (Ath) Donovan Starr - Ravenwood: One of the biggest surprises from Saturday's workout, Starr ran a sub 4.4 forty while displaying nice speed and athleticism at receiver. His future might fit best over on defense at cornerback or safety.

Some Others of Note: (LB) [player_tooltip player_id='244642' first='Cooper' last='McAfee'] - Brentwood, (Ath) Jyrine Otey - Centennial, (OL) Sims Armentrout - Independence, Evan Robison - Franklin, (LB) [player_tooltip player_id='250869' first='Hunter' last='Burton'] - Independence, (WR) Kew Stancil - Independence, (LB) [player_tooltip player_id='316783' first='Joseph' last='Carano'] - Nolensville, (WR) [player_tooltip player_id='301389' first='Jackson' last='Rigdon'] - Nolensville, (DB) Nathan Okubazgi - Ravenwood, (TE/LB) Garet Dean - Summit

Camp Notes …..

- Twenty plus collegiate coaching staffs were in attendance at “The Workout” on Saturday with some Power Five, D1 Conferences well represented with coaches there from Clemson, Purdue, Vanderbilt, Arkansas St., Austin Peay, Ball St., MTSU, Liberty and several others.

- The representative from Clemson had his eyes glued on Page teammates [player_tooltip player_id='149171' first='Ronan' last='O'Connell'] (did not perform) and [player_tooltip player_id='219439' first='Eric' last='Hazzard'] throughout the camp with the Tigers coach getting an up close and personal look at the Patriots junior edge rusher. Hazzard had a good day displaying his explosion, technique and overall ability to work off the end of the line. Hazzard plans to camp with Clemson later this summer and if he performs well, an offer from this ACC school could be on its way.

- Nolensville linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='491443' first='Jackson' last='Bandy'] really turned some heads on Saturday, including mine, showing off a new body in which I was told he added 20 pounds over the past few months and it's paying off. He ran well carrying this new weight then proceeded to show nice bend and explosion during drill work. Bandy will have to hit the camp scene hard this summer to earn those college offers and I think this added weight could definitely help that cause, especially if he decides to start working at edge linebacker.

- College coaches and myself need to start taking a deeper look into Summit running back [player_tooltip player_id='277795' first='Dominick' last='Hollis'] because this guy is too athletic and fast to look past and he displayed those skills and then some at “The Workout” on Saturday morning. The Spartans senior offensive threat is a big play waiting to happen as Hollis may have as much speed as any running back from our #TN2024 class and a multi talented guy that can catch out the backfield as well. Hollis was asked about several times by college coaches on Saturday, so expect to see his stock rise with more interest over the coming months.

- Nolensville quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='288620' first='Ty' last='Collins'] can seriously spin the football and he showed up bigger on Saturday morning as it looks like he has packed on at least 15 pounds to his 6'3 frame. This added weight showed up when they began the throwing portion of camp where Collins displayed a powerful right arm along with accuracy and zip. He drove the ball hard down the field along with placing it on time. Collins is continuing to develop nicely and I could definitely see him earning those college offers this summer.

- Several junior prospects had standout performances at “The Workout' on Saturday morning. Hazzard was the best overall performer but several others stood out as well. Ravenwood wideout [player_tooltip player_id='219435' first='Ben' last='Hubbard'] impressed me the most as someone that could have a breakout season on his hands this Fall. This guy is ultra quick with excellent feet, sporting the athletic upside to become a perfect slot option on the collegiate gridiron. Fellow Raptors junior offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='219438' first='Kyle' last='Larkin'] had a good day as well, displaying improved technique and mobile feet. His game may fit best inside right now for guard but the size and mobility is there to develop into a possible right tackle.

Centennial junior two-way athlete [player_tooltip player_id='310897' first='Kani'' last='Johnson'] was another junior that had the attention of multiple college coaches. He is a well built young man that provides a lot of game breaking abilities to the football field that could develop nicely on either side of the ball. He showed off those skills and then some on Saturday in front of some important people.

Page junior offensive lineman A.J. Johnson and rising sophomore Jacob Rathbone might have been the two best performers from their position on Saturday and two guys who really took their college stocks into a positive direction. Johnson has a nice frame about himself that can tack on more weight once he gets to college along with lower base mobility to play tackle or guard along the O-line.

Rathbone is a well versed young man that gained massive experience starting last year as a sophomore and it showed up at “The Workout”. The Patriots stud sophomore stands about 6'3 while sporting a nice body for more size but it was his feet and technique sound play that stood out the most. Once he matures his body while gaining more experience, you will see this guy's recruitment take off.
