Continue ReadingMitchell shows a pretty good feel for pressure. Able to climb the pocket and buy time. Tough enough to stand in and take a hit. Throws from a stable base and transfers weight effectively. Has a high release point and consistent follow-through. Sound decision-maker who limits questionable throws. Shows the ability to make anticipatory throws, and throw receivers open. Trusts his arm strength and doesn’t need to see wide-open receivers to throw. Arm talent is very good, with the ability to crank up the velocity as needed.
Timmy Robert
Timmy Robert
Robert plays the game with the physicality and toughness teams look for in offensive linemen; capitalizes on opportunities to finish opponents. Fires out low and with some explosiveness and can overwhelm opposing defenders at the point of attack. Able to attack the outside shoulder and collapse run fits. Keeps his feet going after contact and works through the whistle. Grip strength to sustain is very good.
Green one-cut runner with enough speed to threaten the edge and who shows good burst to plant and get upfield when the hole is there. Gets defenders to overcommit to flowing laterally and is able to work back inside and find yardage. Makes solid cuts to find rushing lanes from the backfield, and vision is good enough to recognize opportunities to make something out of nothing.
Tyler Blalock
Tyler Blalock
Blalock agility is one of his major strengths; has excellent jump-cuts, is able to make defenders miss in the hole in one-on-one situations, and can be very hard to tackle in the open field. Finishes runs by lowering the shoulder and fighting for yards after contact; does a good job of falling forward at the end of his attempts.
Tyler Laskaris
Tyler Laskaris
Laskaris stands tall in the pocket with a solid base. Capable of making throws on bootlegs to the right side of the field. Gets the ball out quickly in the short game, with a release that’s at least adequate. Able to work through progressions. Overall arm strength is solid, with good zip on his throws. Has the confidence to trust his arm on passes into tighter windows.
