After the Dakotas Uncommitted Sweep, I had to go back and sweep through my SW corner of Minnesota as well. I'm glad this list has risen in numbers over the past few years and hope it continues to grow in the future. All these athletes will be steals for any program still looking for a late season recruit. A little more skill players on this list, but each will make an immediate impact at the next level. Check out the SW MN list below!

[player_tooltip player_id='312945' first='Ryan' last='King'] (WR/DB)- BOLD, Highlights

Another kid you want on your side when you need some yards. A good route runner with extremely reliable hands, whether he's open or tightly covered. Living in the short to medium routes, he does an excellent job securing the ball and gaining any extra yards he can after the catch. He will also burn you with his sneaky speed if you aren't ready for it.

Aiden Swenson (WR/DB)- Dawson-Boyd, Highlights

Another good possession receiver that will get the first down when he gets the ball. Quick release off the snap and gets his head around quick to be a good safety valve for his QB. Also flashing his hands and making the sure catch before he goes and gets more yards. If he isn't checked crossing the field, his speed will burn the defense for a big play.

[player_tooltip player_id='112065' first='Chidi' last='Nwakama'] (RB/LB)- Marshall, Highlights

I stopped by a Marshall Tiger Preseason practice once, and Nwakama stood out on his offensive snaps. I liked his agility and pad level when he carried the football. When he got into open space, his speed really showed, and he ripped off big chunks. He carried that well into his Senior Season. Also adding some LB to his skills, showing a physical tackler on the perimeter.

Peyton Gillund (K)- Minneota, Highlights

Caught Gillund at SMSU camp last summer, showed his kicking leg really well that day. Also tuned in to one of his games late in the year, and if my math was right, he drilled a 40 yarder late in the first half. Always getting good height on his PAT's and being very consistent going perfect on the season in PAT's and FG's on the year.

[player_tooltip player_id='313215' first='Evan' last='Cooper'] (RB/LB)- Redwood Valley, Highlights

This kid made life very difficult for both the opposing offense and defense. He was the bruising back for his offensive unit, ripping off good chunks of yardage between tackles every play. He was also a good blocker in the backfield as well as a good safety valve target. Defensively, he was the guy to be in the box and make the stops in the run game.

Noah Gullickson (OL/DL)- Renville County West, Highlights

A kid that every opposing Center hated to see line up across from them. So quick off the snap, and very powerful once engaged with the blocker. Always plugging the middle run gaps to make those nearly impossible to gain yards. On passing downs, it was almost instant pressure from him up the middle, bringing the blocker with him.

Caden Anderson (RB/LB)- Tracy/Milroy/Balaton, Highlights

Watched Anderson at DSU team camp and followed a few games this season, and the kid can run the football. Once the ball is in his hands, he is looking for defenders to run over. One tackler is never enough to bring this kid down. Once through the gap and his speed gets another good chunk. Defensively, he steps up and fills the run gap and make the play right at the line of scrimmage.

[player_tooltip player_id='112082' first='Owen' last='Louwagie'] (QB)- Lakeview, Highlights

Started QB as a Sophomore and has improved each and every year. Great mobility in the pocket to avoid pressure. Good agility when he breaks loose in the open field and good speed to break off a big play. Also remaining very calm under pressure and makes good decisions and throws on the run. He is a very accurate QB that makes good throws at all distances.
