Finally plunging into the 2025's in SW Minnesota. They say good things come to those who wait, and I waited long enough to get a lot of quality film out of these youngsters. A little too much skill player oriented, but maybe this will open the door for the Linemen to get film up. I'm liking the future of the potential explosive offenses in the SW in the near future. Check out this talented list of '25's!

Carson Ohnstad (WR/DB)- Waseca, Highlights

Could argue that Ohstad is a little undersized, but he more than makes up for it with his athleticism. I like how precise he runs his routes and his speed when he breaks out of them. Once the ball is in the air he goes up and makes the play on it. Defensively, I like how he gets right in his receiver's hip pocket and sticks with him the whole play. Knows how to play the ball there too.

Trevor Chaulsett (WR/DB)- Pipestone, Highlights

Chaulsett stepped into a big role as a Sophomore. He has good straight line speed and agility to be very good in the slot. I liked his routes, then his awareness of when to break off and find the open space to be a good target for the QB. On the defensive side, his awareness played big in pass coverage to find the biggest threat in his zone. Also a sure-handed perimeter tackler.

[player_tooltip player_id='1204385' first='Landon' last='Quist'] (WR/DB)- Pipestone, Highlights

Quist started off as an offensive asset, then stepped into a large role on the defensive side toward the end of the season. To start, he is a great possession receiver. Gets to the sticks sets up and reels in passes for good yardage every play. On defense, he started off as a good free safety, roaming around the defensive backfield, then evolving into a really good tackler.

[player_tooltip player_id='234915' first='Nohel' last='Vivanco'] (K)- Pipestone, Highlights

Need a reliable kicker? Look no further, Vivanco is your guy! Practicing PAT's all year round and progressively moving back as the day goes on. Always having good height on his kicks and moved his distance back to about 45 yards. Pretty consist hitting field goals from either hash and also gets great distance on his kickoffs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1581618' first='Elijah' last='Woodley'] (DL)- Luverne, Highlights

Woodley has the size and frame to be a big problem for the next couple of years. I like his play in the trenches on the defensive side. He flows and scrapes into the play very well and keeps good pad level to make plays. With a season of experience under his belt, that should lead to a huge confidence boost for his Junior and Senior Seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='234929' first='Lucas' last='Rybinski'] (RB)- Minneota, Highlights

I like Rybinski's aggression as a Sophomore. Doesn't matter what color jersey, how big the kid is or what play is being run, if you get in his way, he is going through you. Blocker or ballcarrier, his aggression and physicality are always on display. Once he has the football he shows good vision and agility as well, able to rip off big chunks of yardage for the offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='605980' first='Quintin' last='Tietz'] (QB)- Windom, Highlights

Only played Tietz once this season and that was enough. Kid's athleticism at a young age is impressive. His mobility made it extremely difficult to keep him in check on any play. Always extending plays with his legs and still being patient enough to find the open receiver. The accuracy and arm strength on the deep routes was spot on almost every time.

Kevin Bleess (WR/DB)- Windom, Highlights

Long story short, Bleess is fast. This kid is going to be another big problem for the next couple of years. Long routes, short routes, screens or safety valve, the kid will find a way to hurt your defense. Doesn't need a lot of time to get open, but if he does, it's going to be a long game. Will also break some arm tackles on the perimeter to keep plays going forward.

Brayden Sturm (WR/DB)- Springfield, Highlights

Sturm seemed to settle into a nice little niche in his Sophomore Season. Looked to be a reliable target on long or short yardage situations. I could see his laser focus when the ball was in the air on both offense and defense. He was usually the one reeling it in as well. His speed also showed on both sides of the ball, either losing a defender or staying with his receiver.

[player_tooltip player_id='234931' first='Jack' last='Gross'] (QB)- BOLD, Highlights

Gross is very fundamentally sound as a QB already. From his drop steps, shoulder level, arm angle to his release, nearly flawless. He puts good zip on his passes, but also the right amount of touch as well. Reading the defense quick and making good, snap decisions to his open receiver. Very confident passer and squeezes the pass in air-tight windows, perfectly.
