Wonderlick looked better than he did at the January Stock Up Showcase. His footwork is good and he moves his feet fast enough to keep up with speedy defensive ends.
His initial punch may have been the best at the camp. He did not lose many reps during the one-on-one period even though the defensive line always has the edge without pads on.
Highlights
Wnetrzak was the biggest guy at the camp and his size made him stand out at times.
He moves decently well for his size and his first step is really good. He has a strong initial punch. He doesn’t move his feet as fast as some other tackles, but he recovers nicely and has some strength.
Wnetzrak won the MVP at the Arrival Camp the day before this camp and it’s easy to see why Power 5 schools have shown some interest in him.
Highlights
Ostrander did some things very well and excelled during the one-on-one period.
He does a really good job of keeping his hips square and his body between the defender and the quarterback. He has a wide base and a good punch.
Sometimes he gets caught leaning forward a little much when trying to stop the bullrush, but he did just about everything well on Sunday.
Hughes was one of the best interior offensive linemen at the camp. His pad level is much better in this setting than it is on film and he’s aware of that hole in his game.
He looked less stiff on Sunday than he did when I saw him in January and his footwork is improving. He hand fights pretty well and recovers quickly when he loses leverage.
If he can keep his pad level down and keep improving his mobility, he can be a big force for Aliso’s offensive line next season.
Shill is a tackle who had to take a lot of reps as an interior offensive lineman on Sunday.
As a tackle, he does a great job extending his arms and keeping the distance between him and the defender. He keeps his hips between the defender and the ball carrier and moves his feet well.
He could add some strength but it’s easy to see why he’s a two-year starter at a big program like Edison. Shill has an offer from Grinnell College.
