Running back is still the bread and butter of most Minnesota offenses. We had no shortage of talent at the camp last Sunday, with a multitude of guys gathering interest from all three levels of play. Below you'll find the top 9 RBs from our latest Prospect Tour!

[player_tooltip player_id='105371' first='Monte' last='Gillman']: 5'6" 160 lbs Dassel-Cokato 2024

He may not have posted eye-popping stats last season, but our camp MVP did not mess around on Sunday afternoon. Gillman is an absurdly explosive athlete, posting a 4.45 40-yard dash. He makes lightning-quick jump cuts and is LETHAL in open space. He has the ability to steal defenders' ankles in the blink of an eye, and once he gets into open space he's gone. Watch out for a massive breakout in 2023 for Gillman.

[player_tooltip player_id='105372' first='Savion' last='Hart']: 5'10" 190 lbs STA 2024

The St. Thomas Academy product's recruiting has exploded this summer. During his junior campaign, he put up over 1300 yards and 26 TDs while averaging an incredible 8.75 ypc! He has a powerful frame, and despite this, he is exceedingly nimble. Fresh off an offer from Minnesota State Mankato, expect Hart to have a dominant senior year and see D1 offers flow in.

[player_tooltip player_id='743260' first='Gavin' last='Schmidt']: 6'1" 200 lbs Elk River 2025

Schmidt was one of the best-built backs at the camp on Sunday. Still only a sophomore, Schmidt put up over 1000 yards and 13 TDs last season. He's extremely quick for someone of his size, and can really turn on the jets when he sees the opportunity. Expect Schmidt to take over Elk River's RB1 role and put up insane numbers his junior year. I predict serious D1 interest soon!

[player_tooltip player_id='743273' first='Kaeden' last='Johnson']: 5'8" 175 lbs Waseca 2024

Another great one cut back, Johnson had a great showing in multiple facets at the camp. He's capable of making quick cuts in space before breaking away for 6, all while being a plenty capable route runner as well. Johnson is a kid I can see having a breakout junior season, so hop on the hype train while you can!

[player_tooltip player_id='245651' first='Ben' last='Holte']: 5'11" 180 lbs Shakopee 2024

The projected Sabers RB1 headed into next season, Holte put up some impressive numbers at the camp on Sunday. He's quick for his thicker frame and more than often beats LBs to the edge. He has a good sense of space and showed off his explosiveness on more than one occasion. Holte is primed for a breakout senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='551438' first='Trent' last='Josewski']: 5'10" 180 lbs Big Lake 2024

One of the most hyped-up MN backs heading into next season, Josewski put on a show at the Prospect Tour camp. He is extraordinarily quick and incredibly explosive, as it was often extremely difficult for defenders to catch him in open space. The second Josewski hits a hole, he's gone. He's gathered a bunch of D1 interest as of late and I'm pumped to see him ball out during his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='429419' first='Bo' last='Bokman']: 5'6" 165 lbs Bethlehem Academy 2025

Bokman was a key starter as a sophomore last season for the Bethlehem Academy Cardinals where he amassed over 1,000 all-purpose yards. At the camp, he showed off some great agility and explosiveness with impressive scores in both the shuttle drill and the broad jump. He's elusive in open spaces and always seems to find a way to get there. Bethlehem Academy returns a lot of studs, so keep your eyes peeled for Bokman next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='205273' first='Damian' last='Tapio']: 5'7" 175 lbs MIB 2024

Fresh off a stellar wrestling season where he took 4th place at 170 lbs, Tapio turned heads all camp. I knew about his fantastic stats from his junior season (he amassed over 2,000 all-purpose yards), but he proved he could ball out with top-notch competitors on Sunday. He has a phenomenal sense of balance and posted crazy numbers in the broad jump and shuttle. Don't let the fact he's a 9-man product fool you, Tapio is the real deal.

[player_tooltip player_id='460286' first='Lex' last='Korti']: 5'6" 160 lbs Fridley 2024

A great running back with a solid receiving upside, Korti had a solid showing on Sunday. Korti is super shifty and does a great job of faking out defenders in one on one situations. He's an underrated route runner and uses his speed and agility to lose bigger defenders in the shuffle. Fridley has a lot of hype surrounding them this season, and I'm psyched to see Korti and crew during the fall.
