Khalil Coley
Khalil Coley
Coley can either be an outside linebacker or defensive end at the next level and is one of the better players across the Northern Section returning. He is a physical edge setter with heavy hands, a violent strike and shed while able to collapse the pocket quickly and close in the backfield. He plays with disciplined eyes, block recognition and is a balanced defensive end. He should draw D-III+ interest and was a big piece in Orland’s state championship winning season in 2022.

Highlights
Bailey is one of the more electric weapons across Central California, and has had a terrific start to his prep career for Hilmar. A low to the ground compact runner, he plays quarterback in the Hilmar system and can do tons of damage on the ground and through the air. He is a quick twitched runner with a strong lower body, patience in the hole and has the ability to make defenders miss in the open field while showing short area quickness and cutback abilities at the first two levels. A strong runner, he can run through contact, he also shows natural forward lean and finishes runs while looking for contact. Bailey will be one of the most productive players once again around the region during the 2023 season.

Highlights
Horton is a do it all player for Weed and although he projects as an outside receiver on offense at the next level, he takes most of the snaps from behind center and can fit into either side of the ball in college. Horton is a big and physical runner with a strong build and long stride. He shows a terrific first level burst while able to gain the edge and is tough to bring down in the open field due to third level speed, strong running abilities and forcing defenders to take bad angles. He sees the field well/sets up his blocks before hitting the hole and getting vertical while easily able to bounce it outside when needed. Horton dominates all competition he plays against and it should only be a matter of time before he collects his first offer.
