<p>An abundance of talented players from all around the Bluegrass State visited Steele Stadium at Kentucky Wesleyan College this past weekend to showcase their talent at the DSP Elite Invitational 7v7 Tournament. After the competitive showcase in Owensboro, KY. and thorough analysis of the long list of talented players from all across the state, it's time to explore some of the most explosive prospects on both sides of the ball. Without further ado, here's my list of the top performers from the DSP Elite Invitational 7v7 Tournament.</p>

<p>Eli Price, a 6-foot-4, 178-pound wide receiver out of Louisville Seneca High School, takes the number one spot as he was one of the most impressive offensive performers in the entire tournament. Price consistently added to the board, hauling in multiple touchdowns. Price showcased his strength early on in the tournament, recording several impressive catches in the endzone to lead SEA 18U to their first win of the day over Indy Select South 18U. In addition to size, speed and versatility, what makes Price such an explosive weapon is his ability to hustle the defense with his efficient route running. On the other side of the ball, Price provides great coverage down the stretch because of his physicality and his ability to consistently pick off the quarterback.</p>

<p>Darionte Ragsdale, a 6-foot-0, 185-pound athlete out of Paducah Tilghman High School, was a crucial offensive and defensive performer for Indy Select South 18U, earning himself the spot of second-best performer in the entire tournament. Ragsdale showcased his talent early on in the tournament against SEA 18U, and built on his success later on. What makes Ragsdale an impressive prospect on both sides of the ball is his size, speed, toughness and ability to make an impact down the stretch and in the endzone. Ragsdale additionally adds excellent physicality and consistency as he can .haul in touchdowns, provide great defensive coverage and keep the ball out of the endzone.</p>

In addition to solid size, speed and versatility on the ground, what makes Winstead so impressive is his quick decision-making, his toughness and his ability to muscle past defenders en route to the endzone. On the other side of the ball, the rising junior can also utilize his physicality and aggression to provide solid defensive coverage down the stretch and in the endzone by keeping receivers under pressure.</p>

<p>Duncan Gaunce, a 5-foot-10, 150-pound wide receiver out of Lexington Catholic High School, was without a doubt, one of the more noticable offensive weapons on P2P Black 18U's roster as he claims the spot for fourth-best performer in the entire tournament. Gaunce established himself offensively early on in the tournament against SEA 18U, breaking free of coverage to haul in an impressive touchdown pass. What makes Gaunce such an efficient weapon on offense is his overall speed, his ability to shake defensive coverage and his consistency down the stretch and in the endzone. The rising sophomore out of Lexington, KY. was additionally explosive on the other end, hauling in an interception later on in the tournament.</p>

Swanigan proved himself to be one of the most notable talents in the entire tournament as he claims the spot for fifth-best performer. What makes Swanigan such an efficient player is his size, speed, versatility down the stretch, ability to shake coverage and his ability to consistently haul in touchdown passes. In addition to his offensive effort which resulted in more than a few touchdowns, Swanigan also contributed defensively, providing solid coverage down the stretch and in the endzone.</p>

<p>Tayvion Jones, a 6-foot-2, 206-pound athlete out of Butler Traditional High School, was another impressive offensive and defensive performer for SEA 18U, establishing himself as one of the most explosive players on the team's roster early on in the tournament. Jones was without a doubt, one of the more physical players on the field, earning him the spot of sixth-best performer in the entire tournament. With excellent size, speed, toughness and versatility on both sides of the ball, Jones was nearly unstoppable down the stretch as he could easily muscle past defenders and escape coverage. On defense, Jones adds excellent toughness, utilizing his physicality and grit to keep the offense out of the endzone and off the scoreboard.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='401720' first='Maddox' last='O'Neal'], a 6-foot-1, 165-pound quarterback out of McCracken County High School, made a huge impact for DSP Elite 18U at the helm of the offense over the course of the tournament. O'Neal was incredibly noticable because of his aesthetically pleasing spiral on the ball. O'Neal proved himself to be a top quarterback contender throughout the tournament, throwing for 10 scores. He earns the seventh-best performer spot. In addition to solid size, speed and versatility, what makes O'Neal such an efficient gunslinger is his ability to play quick off the snap, consistently produce pin-point accuracy in the air and hit his receivers in stride anywhere on the field. The rising sophomore out of Paducah, KY. threw more than a few impressive rockets into the backfield during the tournament and contributed defensively as a safety as well.</p>

With excellent size, speed, versatility down the stretch and solid route running, the rising junior out of Owensboro, KY. consistently found himself in the endzone with the ball in his hands. On the other side of the ball, Crowe contributed excellent toughness, physicality and aggressive defensive coverage, putting a sufficient amount of pressure on opposing receivers in the endzone.</p>
