2A Region POY Returners

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Only three Region POY's from 2A will return for another seaosn here in 2023, and they enter the spring with tons of potential. He led Pima to a 13-1 record and brought home the 2A State Title, and will look to repeat it here again in 2023. A very dynamic kid wih the ability to line up in multiple spots and be the difference maker from anywhere. Along with being that difference maker, he has to be an identified threat on both sides of the ball, making it very difficult for these 2A programs to gameplan gainst. He brings a different dimension to that Pima squad, and will have a massive opportunity throughout his senior campaign. He put up impressive numbers on both sides of the ball and was really a major game changer for 2A football. 87 tackles, 6 sacks, 26 TFL's on D and he put up over 1,000 yards rushing and 10 TD's as a RB. Huge potential as he enters his senior campaign under new HC Kerry Taylor. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='115535' first='Andrew' last='Trapp'], ATH, Scottsdale Christian '24</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Trapp has been an impact player for SCA for a few years now, and really put his name on the map last season by earning the Verde Region POY award. Natural pass catcher with solid athleticism and holds major big play ability every time he touches the ball. Nice COD in space with a burst to be able to spring himself into open field with acceleration.
