Henry Wonderlick Henry Wonderlick 6'3" | 295 lbs | OL Villa Park | 2025 State CA (Villa Park) just picked up his first D-I offer less than a month ago and should be a strong candidate to garner more interest heading into the 2023 season.
Highlights
Wonderlick picked up his first offer from Hawaii in March. The promising young C is a mauler at the POA that’s quick to snap-and-engage and plays with violent hands. He packs a strong punch at the LOS and possesses the physical strength to toss smaller DL around. He uses powerful leg drive to move DTs off the ball and finishes defenders to the ground. Wonderlick’s an under-the-radar prospect with serious D-I upside in his physicality at this early stage.
Hughes was one of the top performing OL at Prep Redzone’s Stock-Up Showcase in January. The sophomore C holds a stocky frame at 6’3”/280 with the physical strength and base to anchor down. He plays a little high and stiff at times on film but showed improvement in his movement and overall bend at the January event. Hughes is an OL prospect to keep an eye on in SoCal this season.
Highlights
Walton lands on the 2025 Watchlist after a strong showing at National Preps’ March Showcase and measured out the longest wingspan at 83”. He’s a raw prospect with promising size, length, and agility at 6’6”/280. He started 10 games at LT for Buchanan’s JV squad last season and will be a player to watch making the leap to varsity in 2023.
Highlights
Wilson flashed potential as a pass-blocking LT in limited varsity action as a sophomore. He presents good size at 6’4”/280, is technical with his footwork in pass protection, and maintains leverage at the POA. Look for Wilson’s name to gain traction in the San Diego 2025 OL scene next season.
Carpenter’s a relentless run blocker from his LT spot for Pasadena. He flashes early potential in his tenacity and athleticism (two-sport athlete in basketball/football). Carpenter’s growth and development will be one to watch as his playing time increases heading into his junior season.
