Continue ReadingBaffling to me how this young man doesn’t have some kind of offer. In all my years of ranking classes in PA and NE, I never inserted a transfer RB this high into the rankings. The IMG transfer almost placed as the top back in his entire class, usually instances like this occur with multi-FBS offered prospects entering a new state. This young man, however, has no offers to speak of, despite his tape showing FBS capabilities. I’m unfamiliar with Fletcher’s background and story, yet his tape checks out. Flashes the blend of a violent running style with agility like countless FBS backs display. Has the home-run hitting stride and acceleration to turn 1st downs into touchdowns. Has reps on tape that show he can catch the ball out of the backfield. I don’t foresee many defenses that will be able to handle Fletcher behind this new STM offensive line.

Another high-ranked prospect without offers to date. 6’4, a nimble 270-pound right guard out of Chelmsford HS, Thomas Brown Thomas Brown 6’3″ | 280 lbs | OL Chelmsford | 2025 State New E lands as the best interior linemen prospect in his class, his tape will wow. Ferocious, violent both off the snap and as a finisher. Usually, prospects with this kind of power and tenacity are 300+ pounds, not Brown. You’re going to get a mover at guard that can pull and bulldoze his way through pretty much anyone in his path, DL and LBs alike. An absolute tone-setter in the run game. A more than viable option to dominate at right tackle or on the opposite side of the ball at DL. Here’s an FBS talent waiting to hear back from possible suitors.

Here’s a behemoth of a lineman that the likes of UConn and UMass should have on radar. 6’5, 300 pounds out of St. Sebastian’s School, Lucas Candiotto Lucas Candiotto 6’5″ | 305 lbs | OL St. Sebastian’s School | 2025 State New E will provide the program with premier pass pro sets, as well as plentiful pancakes across the field. Low in his stance to show off flexibility, yet can shoot out of said stance and race downfield to steamroll defenders. I find value in his pass protection reps, Candiotto’s flexing tape that tells coaches he’s experienced at both run and pass blocking. Coaches love to mold these types of juggernauts into whatever they like, get this kid into your camps ASAP.

Another juggernaut out of Choate Rosemary Hall, formerly out of London, Ontario, is yet another massive linemen prospect that will be suiting up in the NEPSAC this coming Fall. A lean and clean 6’7, 285 pounds, Will Black Will Black 6’7″ | 290 lbs | OL Choate Rosemary Hall | 2025 State New E ‘s OSFL highlight tape is littered with dominant run-blocking reps. In all honesty, I won’t pretend to know what kind of competition Black was facing up North, yet the blessing of those at Choate Rosemary Hall leads me to believe that he’ll fit right in sooner rather than later. Black is a bit raw in advanced aspects of lineman play, he’s a kid I would love to watch in a camp setting to understand just how flexible and athletic he really is. That being said, there’s a lot to like in a 6’7 tackle prospect who can develop under the CRH umbrella.
Ashtin Traver Ashtin Traver 6’6″ | 245 lbs | TE St. Thomas More | 2025 State New E , a 6’6, 245-pound OL turned TE that will be suiting up for St. Thomas More this Fall. The top-ranked tight-end prospect has a lot to prove this Fall, I’d imagine he’s ready to prove our rankings true. There’s a lot to like from a build perspective, yet there isn’t much to go off of in terms of tape. How did I conclude that Traver is ready to be the top tight end in New England? This is where my connections with FBS and FCS schools in the area come into play. Gauging interest among many in the know, I learned just how high some programs are on Traver. I can’t ignore how coaches at the next level feel about his potential. Expect Traver to wow at camps and possibly walk away with offers.
