Romelo Tables Romelo Tables 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Clifton | 2025 State NJ earns the best dual-threat superlative due to of polish he plays. Out of all the quartet backs in the 2025 class, Romelo is the most sound and has the best mechanics. If you watch his tape he’s able to throw the ball accurately at every level of the field and is able to complete difficult passes while throwing on the run.
As a runner he’s dangerous, whether it’s running between the tackles or off a broken play, Tables knows how to use size, speed, and burst to be an effective runner.
I would love to see Tables take more control of the offense and get him somewhere around 15 pass attempts a game and truly become the dual-threat elite signal caller I know he can be. Romelo currently has one offer from UCONN.
MOST IMPROVED
I started out at the beginning of last season I wrote about how Ruffin had a big arm but the accuracy was lacking. However this year I saw a massive improvement so much so I believe he will take an even bigger step this upcoming season.
Throwing for over 2400 yards and 19 touchdowns. Ruffin’s downfield accuracy was where I saw the biggest improvement in his game. He consistently attacked the deep portions of the field, specifically, giving top wide receiver Jaylan Hornsby Jaylan Hornsby 6'3" | 185 lbs | WR Winslow | 2024 State NJ ample opportunities on deep shots which 9 times out of 10 isn’t a bad idea.
In addition, Ruffin also improved upon how he layered the football, Specifically, when attacking the intermediate portions of the field. It was encouraging to see him get the opportunities to work in different areas of the field and actually look decent when doing so in terms of hitting tight windows and throwing up and around second-level defenders.
Ruffin going to have a season where he makes himself unquestionably QB 1 in his class.
Frankie had a solid season and I believe he can be even better going into next season. Frankie’s game reminds me so much of Prime Russell Wilson in the way that he can not only buy time when the play breaks down. He can also hit those deep shots out of the structure. With top recruits like Emanuel Ross Emanuel Ross 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Red Bank Catholic | 2024 State NJ on the receiving end of those deep shots, It’s never a bad idea to give a player like that opportunities to make plays on the football. In addition, Frankie is showing improvement in executing a myriad of concepts and is improving his ability to fit the ball into tight windows.
As I explained with Ruffin I also believe Frankie could end up being the best quarterback in this class because he has high-end tools and adequate weapons to do so. Red Bank is losing senior wide receiver Najih Rahman Najih Rahman 5'11" | 195 lbs | WR Red Bank Catholic | 2023 State NJ , offensive player of the year Sabino Portella Sabino Portella 5'11" | 185 lbs | RB Red Bank Catholic | 2023 State NJ , and running back Torin Hamon Torin Hamon 5'10" | 195 lbs | RB Red Bank Catholic | 2023 State NJ . More of the load will fall on Frankie’s shoulders will see how he handles more workload.
BEST DEEP BALL
Highlights
As mentioned in previous articles Kendall plays in an offense that consists of nothing but Slants and Deep shots. Therefore Kendall is getting ample opportunities to show off his deep ball accuracy. And from what I have seen Kendall knows how to give his receivers opportunities on deep passes. Whether it’s throwing with accuracy and timing or giving his guys jump ball opportunities, Kendall has a great grasp on how to maximize deep shots down the field.
Kendall finished the year with 1300 passing and 17 touchdowns. And with top target Pedro Reyes leaving Jersey to play football in South Carolina, it will interesting to see the correlation between having a top receiver and deep ball production.
