He is well coached and very technically sound in his play. Echols is a strong run blocker and defensive lineman off the ball. He has a big physical punch that knocks linebackers off their feet. Echols is probably one of the strongest run blockers in this 2024 Class. He plays for an elite Katy H.S. program that is consistently a top team in the State of Texas. He knows how to work and is very well coached. This young man is a straight up DAWG! College Coaches are going to be recruiting Echols hard this summer. Echols has offers to some big FBS programs; Purdue, Colorado State, Memphis, Texas Tech, Tulane, Utah State, North Texas, Sam Houston, Louisiana Tech, Arkansas State. Defensive Back from the Houston Metro area. He can do it all! Press man skills are at a very high level. TJ has great feet and hips, and shuts down just about everyone that he lines up across. He is not afraid to step up and support in the run game. He is very physical, and flies around the field. Just a matter of getting his name out there! Long Athletic DB's are hard to find. Currently has 3 offers; Akron, Northern Illinois, and Houston Christian University. I have TJ projected to play at a big FBS Program. Dotson has incredible ball skills and creates turnovers for the Hurricane defense. He reads plays very well and has a quick break on the football. Dotson is also a physical tackler in run support. Dotson's speed combined with his ability to read an offense make him a problem for his opponents. Also very talented as a return specialist.
