With some schools beginning to reach out to some of the upcoming stars in the game, it’s important to know about kids that are about to break the internet. The Class of 2027 is loaded with TONS of undiscovered talent around the country and here are some athletes that you need to know about now.
There are 11 opportunities to compete against some of these guys and other top 2027 & 2028 prospects this spring at our PRZ Next Rising Prospect camps. Do yourself a favor and get signed up for one. The talent that comes out never disappoints. Here are the dates/locations.
Brady Edmunds Brady Edmunds 6’5″ | 210 lbs | QB Huntington Beach | 2027 State CA is quarterback in the loaded class of 2027. The 6’5 quarterback has shown early on that he is going to be one of the more well-rounded quartberacks out of the state of California, if not the country. Brady moves smoothly through the pocket, his footwork allows him to have a flow as he works through his progressions. The touch that Brady puts on his throws make his downfield throws look effortless and accurate. Brady also shows to have great anticipation as he works through his progression. There are times that it seems like he knows what the defense is going to do before they even show their hand. Overall, with talent like Brady has, it is going to be hard to overlook this kid at the next level. Arizona State has already offered, this past month he’s visited Alabama and Ole Miss. Itt won’t be long until Brady lights up defenses on Friday nights in California.
Jaxson Rex Jaxson Rex 5’11” | 160 lbs | ATH San Clemente | 2027 CA is an absolute force at defensive back and wide receiver. The 5’11, 160-pound corner is one of the most efficient pass defenders in the class of 2027. On the football field, Jaxson plays smart, fast, and physical. In coverage, he is one of the best at finding the football and attacking the ball for a pass breakup or an interception. As a tackler, rex does a phenomenal job driving down on bubbles or quick games and getting the receiver down efficiently. Jaxson has all around talent that should bring him even more success at the next level. Between his football IQ and his ability to take throwing lanes away, it is going to be hard for anyone to move the ball against him. If Jaxson keeps this up, he is going to find himself as one of the best corners in the country very soon.
Kaden Franco Kaden Franco 6’4″ | 285 lbs | OL Servite | 2027 State CA is another offensive linemen headed to St. John Bosco and has the strength and explosion to hang with the best in southern California. He has tacked on a few inches and pounds, and is now up to 6’3 and 270-pounds. For a bigger offensive lineman, he moves and bends really well for his size. On the football field, Kaden moves well for a big man, especially in pass protection. With his hungry style of run blocking, Kaden is always working to create running lanes and keep his guys clean. I have written about Kaden before, and as I come back to him, he seems to be a gift that keeps on giving. The more I watch what he can do, the more I am impressed with what he can do. Kaden has incredible upside, and is going to continue to do great things as he climbs through the high school ranks.
