The conference is loaded with Bishop McDevitt, and Steelton-Highspire both coming off winning PIAA State Championships. In addition, Harrisburg went to the 6A PIAA Title Game and lost to St. Joe’s Prep. The other big part of the Mid-Penn Conference is how deep the conference is. So many great teams and players.
Stone Sanders Bishop McDevitt. Obviously, the easiest place to start with is Prep Redzone’s top player in the 2025 class. Saunders is an elite quarterback and there is no other way to describe him. He has great mechanics. He sets his feet well and throws with anticipation very well. He is very good at throwing in tight windows. When the play breaks down Saunders shows an ability to keep the play alive and make something happen with the ball. Lastly, Saunders has a big arm. He can throw any ball you want on the field. Saunders has offers from a ton of the top Division 1 College Football programs and should only continue to grow. He recently visited Notre Dame.
Jared Porter Jared Porter 5'9" | 170 lbs | ATH Central Dauphin East | 2025 State PA Central Dauphin East. Porter played defensive back and running back for Central Dauphin East last year. At running back he is a natural runner who is very good at making people miss in the hole and making a big play. Porter has elite speed and if he gets a seam he is gone for a big play. The other part that is impressive about his film is he is able to lower his shoulder and take on defenders for extra yards. At the defensive back position, he has elite coverage skills as he is able to cover receivers very well. The other part of Porter’s game that is impressive is his ability to provide run support from the defensive back position. Porter is a division 1 prospect who will continue to get multiple College Football offers.

Lex Cyrus Lex Cyrus 5'9" | 170 lbs | WR Susquehanna Township | 2025 State PA Susquehanna Township. Cyrus played wide receiver last year for Susquehanna Township. He is a good wide receiver who can do it all at the position. Every time he touches the ball he can take it for a touchdown. On at least three occasions Cyrus took a simple hitch route, caught the ball, and then raced to the end zone for the touchdown. Cyrus also is very good on deep balls. He can go up and make 50/50 catches look easy. Cyrus is an explosive wide receiver who should only get better going forward. He projects as a Division 1 College Football player. He recently received an offer from Virginia Tech and Pitt.
Highlights
Brady Heiser Brady Heiser 6'1" | 200 lbs | QB Gettysburg | 2025 State PA Gettysburg. Heiser played quarterback for Gettysburg last year. He is a true duel threat and is very good with the quarterback run game. When Gettysburg ran zone read, Heiser excelled at reading the end and then pulling the ball for a big run. Heiser is also very good at running for plays when the play breaks down. Heiser also does a nice job throwing with anticipation. He does a nice job reading the defense than throwing the ball into open windows. Heiser’s mechanics are also sound and he sets his feet well when he is ready to throw the ball. Heiser is a very talented quarterback that has all the tools to play College Football.
Ky’mir Williams Ky’mir Williams 5'11" | 180 lbs | ATH Harrisburg | 2025 State PA Harrisburg. Ky’mir Williams Ky’mir Williams 5'11" | 180 lbs | ATH Harrisburg | 2025 State PA played linebacker at Harrisburg last year. A true hybrid player who can do a lot of different responsibilities on defense. 1st he is very good at setting the edge. He does a nice job setting the edge and forcing everything inside or making the tackle on the edge. He really excels in coverage. He drops into the flat and covers everything in his zone very well. Williams also showed the ability to pressure the quarterback. Several times on film he created pressure by attacking the quarterback off the edge. Williams can also play deep zone as a safety. Williams can do a lot of different positions on the defense and is a difference-maker who should have a good opportunity to play College Football in the future.
Nazier Fuller Nazier Fuller 6'0" | 155 lbs | ATH Steelton-Highspire | 2025 State PA Steelton-Highspire. Fuller played defensive back primarily for Steelton, but he is a playmaker all over the field. In one of his clips from his film, he blocked a punt and then returned it for a touchdown. Fuller also returned kick-offs for Steelton and was very good at doing that as well. At cornerback he has good size, standing 6’4″. Fuller has good coverage skills. When he is in coverage he has the ability to stay in front of receivers. He then has the ability to make plays on the ball and to create turnovers. Fuller is an intriguing prospect and I cannot wait to check his film out next year.
