Cam is the total package as a player in terms of size, speed, and athleticism. In addition, he has a long build with long arms and limbs with room on his frame to add weight. Cam can play defensive back or receiver and he’s a smooth mover at both positions. As a receiver, he’s able to win in a myriad of ways, he can use his frame and athleticism to win in 50/50 situations. Also is a polished route runner.
Cam has the total player package and will be elite at either corner or wide receiver.
Archie is in the running for the most athletic player in the state. With his combination of size and speed, whether he’s playing linebacker or running his athletic profile is always on display. The explosivness he plays with is next level, especially when playing downhill as a linebacker. In addition, what’s special is how he accelerates, he has the type of acceleration that is special as a running back makes him dangerous and uncatchable in the open field.
Archie’s notoriety has risen since the end of the season as he’s gained three notable offers from Georgia, South Carolina, and Cincy.
Parrish is a player that is a pleasant surprise. He rose all the way to the second-best defensive back in the class due to his play against top receivers. Parrish is a smooth mover and a good athlete for his size. Specifically, his leaping ability is impressive and allows him at his size to be feisty in 50/50 situations and at the catch point. In addition, he has physical nature to his game and plays cornerback like a box safety.
Parrish gained some buzz from Power 5 schools as he received offers from Penn State, Boston College, and Duke. Just as with our ranking his stock is steadliy rising as a Power 5 prospect.
Ruffin gained buzz in the summer as he lit the 7 on 7 scene on fire. Then he followed it up by having a season where he was one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the state.
Ruffin is a physical specimen standing at 6’3 weighing 200+ pounds. His game is rookie-year Cam Newton-esque as he has all the mobility you could ask for, plus a rocket for an arm. However, with that rocket arm, it lacks accuracy as he’s still learning how to layer his passes.
Deante has much room to grow and will challenge for the best quarterback in this class by the end of next season. Ruffin earned offers from Boston College, Pitt, and West Virginia.
Sahnye grabbed everyone’s attention with his spectacular catches. Then he got the nation’s attention when one of his catches made the SportsCenter top 10. However, don’t be fooled by the notoriety, he is not only a highlight catch guy but he’s a complete receiver with immense upside.
Sahnye is 6’1 190 pounds and knows how to use his body to create space. For a player that’s only played wide receiver for a year, he has exceptional body control and hands. He has top-notch movement ability as he is both shifty and has great acceleration.
Sahnye has the most upside of any receiver in his class due to his size, athleticism, and acrobatics. If he continues to work on his route running he will be an elite wide receiver prospect.
