Here are the tight ends who are making their debut in the rankings.
Dunfee is 6-foot-3 and has the strength to be a really good blocking tight end.
Sometimes Claremont lines him up as a split receiver to try and create mismatches with his size. He can go up and grab errant throws.
A thing I like about Dunfee’s route running is he gets really good depth on the drag routes over the middle. He gets behind the linebackers in zone coverage and has the speed to beat them in man coverage.
Highlights
Harrison is an old school tight end who may be the best blocking tight end in the class. He is a great down blocker who drives his feet through contact and can climb to the next level like a tackle.
As a receiver, he has the strength to bring down contested balls and is hard to bring down after the catch.
Harrison has an offer from UNLV.
Highlights
Isenhart is a tight end who is well-rounded and has the potential to be a solid college prospect.
He is good at getting off the ball and shaking off defenders in man coverage. His route running is solid and he shows good instincts when the play breaks down.
Isenhart isn’t asked to block often but he is a competent pass blocker and has some strength at the point of attack.
He looked pretty good at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase and he will be a focal point of Capo’s offense next season.
Highlights
La Costa Canyon lines him up as a slot receiver mostly and sometimes splits him out wide, but he is definitely a tight end at the next level.
Ladd is the fastest tight end on this list and has receiver speed. La Costa Canyon does a good job moving him around the offense to create mismatches.
Because he is split out often, he is usually asked to block smaller guys which he does well, but there isn’t much film of him blocking defensive ends or linebackers. He is definitely more of a receiving tight end and he is very good at it.
Ladd has offers from Penn, Nevada, Columbia, Montana State and Idaho.
