Several dozen prospects from throughout the state showed up to get evaluated and receive instruction from college coaches. Several schools had coaches at the camp – New Mexico Highlands, Western New Mexico, Ottawa University of Arizona, Texas Wesleyan and Southwestern Oklahoma State.
The morning session, which consisted of drills and instruction for offensive players, went off without a hitch. Unfortunately, inclement weather (high winds, rain, dust storm warning from the NWS) moved into the Albuquerque area around 11 a.m. and the afternoon session, which was supposed to feature competition (1x1s, OL vs. DL, etc.) and defensive drills, was cancelled.
Here are two videos from the morning session:
Part 1 (OL)
Part 2( QB/WR/OL)
