Ethyn Boyd Ethyn Boyd 6'3" | 250 lbs | OL Pojoaque Valley | 2025 State NM , Pojoaque Valley: The 6-foot-2, 250-pound Boyd introduced himself to college recruiters with an impressive performance at the Prep Redzone Combine in Grants on April 13. Good hands and feet. He’ll anchor the Pojoaque Valley OL in 2024.
Josiah Campos Josiah Campos OL Silver | 2025 State NM , Silver: Campos is a two-year starter at center for the Colts and has helped lead them to the Class 4A championship game in 2022 and the semifinals in 2023.
Ryan Garcia Ryan Garcia 6'4" | 260 lbs | OL Capital | 2025 State NM , Capital: The 2025 O-Line class in New Mexico is LOADED and Garcia has emerged as one of its shining stars. He’s become a hot commodity in recruiting with numerous camp invitations, including Northern Arizona, UConn, Davidson and UT Permian Basin just in the last week. Bethel College, Peru State and Minnesota West (JUCO) have offered.
Grant Johnson Grant Johnson 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB Artesia | 2025 State NM , Artesia: The 6-foot-0, 200 pound Johnson is one of Artesia’s top returning tacklers in 2024. Last season he had over 40 tackles for the Bulldogs. He’s very active and has a keen nose for the football. Always seem to be in on the play. Case in point: 3 fumble recoveries in 2023.
Thomas-James Pettus, Volcano Vista: Pettus has emerged this spring as potentially one of the best outside linebackers in the state not named Mason Posa Mason Posa 6'3" | 210 lbs | LB La Cueva | 2025 State NM . Pettus has been impressive in camps. He’s 6-foot-2, 195 pounds and runs the 40 in 4.55 seconds. He had 29 tackles and 3.0 TFL in 2023. He could double those numbers as a senior.
Aidan Rutley Aidan Rutley 6'5" | 230 lbs | DL Roswell | 2025 State NM , Roswell: With a 6-foot-5, 235-pound frame, Rutley will have a large role on the Coyotes’ stellar defensive line. In fact, Roswell’s D-Line will arguably be the best in the state. Rutley had 30 tackles and 16.0 TFL in 2023, meaning over half of his tackles produced negative yardage.
Omar Sanchez Omar Sanchez 6'1" | 165 lbs | DB Centennial | 2025 State NM , Centennial: Not only is the 6-foot-1, 180-pound Sanchez a good football player for the Hawks, he’s a fantastic all-around athlete. Earlier this week, he tied the school record in the high jump (6’2”). He could play both DB and WR for the Hawks in 2024. Made 45 tackles for the Centennial defense in 2023.
Sajon Thompson Sajon Thompson 6'2" | 165 lbs | DB West Mesa | 2025 State NM , West Mesa: After a solid junior season at CB for the Mustangs in 2023 (First Team All-District), the 6-foot-2, 195-pound Thompson has been a hit on the recruiting trail this spring. He attended Junior Days at New Mexico, Eastern New Mexico and West Texas A&M, and has been invited to camps at New Mexico State, Buffalo, UT Permian Basin and others. Definitely one of the top DBs in the Albuquerque Metro Region for 2024.
Caden Tierney, Las Cruces: Tierney, a 6-foot-2 rising senior, splashed onto the scene a season ago and he should be the Bulldawgs’ No. 3 receiver this coming season behind Nate Libby Nate Libby 6'3" | 175 lbs | WR Las Cruces | 2025 State NM and Francisco Winnikoff Francisco Winnikoff 6'1" | 185 lbs | WR Las Cruces | 2026 State NM , giving a Las Cruces a potentially lethal passing attack that will severely test opposing defenses every week.
Jack Warble Jack Warble 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Rio Rancho | 2025 State NM , Rio Rancho: The 6-foot-4, 290-pound Warble will undoubtedly be one of the top offensive linemen in the Albuquerque Metro Region for 2024, and should be the starting left tackle for the Rams. He has attended Junior Days at New Mexico State and Eastern New Mexico, and been invited to camp by numerous schools, including UT Permian Basin, Drake, North Dakota State, Miami (OH), Gardner-Webb and more.
