He played primarily JV this past season but is easily one of the best players on the field. He takes the top off the defense with his speed and athleticism. He makes excellent catches and always is a threat to score. He runs really good vertical routes with proper spacing and stacking. He catches the screen balls and its off to the races. On defense he plays Safety and Corner and is excellent. He is patient, triggers fast once the play declares, and makes good plays on the ball. He plays Safety and commands a huge presence. He is an excellent reader of plays and triggers with extreme velocity to the route or the run. He gets downhill like he was shot out of a cannon. He makes excellent tackles with the proper technique. He is patient with his backpedal and once the route declares he closes very quickly. He is an impressive takeaway artist. He robs the seam routes and cancels them. He plays through the hands and has excellent ball skills on the fade routes. He plays Corner and matches up against some of the best in Central Ohio. He is patient in his backpedals and twitchy in the hips. Once the route declares, he has the speed to stay in phase on the deep routes. He has the quickness to close fast on the underneath routes. He makes plays through the hands and is not afraid to take chances and intercept the ball. He is an excellent tackler and gets ball carriers to the ground quickly. He destructs blocks well and is never out leveraged. He plays Center and has a quick punch off the snap. He keeps a wide base and flat back. His feet keep moving through the whistle. He is quick to the second level and sticks like glue to the shifty LB's. His lateral quickness is good and he covers up defenders. He is tough in the pass game and keeps the QB clean. He punches up and through defenders while in a good posture. His feet never stop and he can handle the bull rush. He plays TE but splits out wide into the boundary. He runs great fade routes and catches everything. He is deadly in the redzone with his leaping and athletic ability. He has soft hands and makes the hard catches. He blocks well on the LOS and out wide. His base is solid with active movement of his feet. He latches on and sticks like glue to defenders.
